Memory
Cowboy Beebop O.S.T. III Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I might mean it, and I might not
But if you meet me in the parking lot
It's gotta be dark, it's gotta be cold
I'm not gonna wait for us both to grow old
What would you do if it were you?
What would you see if you were me?
What would you feel?
What makes it real?
I might believe it and I might not
If you never hear it we're both better off
Whatever I told you, whatever you think
It's best to forget because the past really stinks
What would you do if it were you?
What would you see if you were me?
What would you feel?
What makes it real?
What would you do if it were you?
What would you see if you were me?

What would you feel?
What makes it real?

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Memory by Cowboy Bebop O.S.T. III are open to interpretation, but they seem to be about a person who is uncertain about their feelings and what they want. The singer is unsure if they truly mean what they say or not. They suggest meeting in the parking lot, but only if it is dark and cold outside because they don't want to wait years to see what will happen. The singer seems to be saying that they are impulsive and don't want to waste time.

The chorus asks the listener to imagine what they would do if they were in the same situation. It forces the listener to put themselves in the singer's shoes and imagine what it would be like to have uncertainty about their feelings. The song ends with the suggestion that it's better to forget the past and move on.

Overall, the song seems to be about the complexities of human emotion and the difficulty in expressing oneself fully. The singer is struggling with their feelings and isn't sure how to handle them. The song builds on this confusion and encourages the listener to empathize with the singer's struggles.

Do not fear death. Death is always at our side. When we show fear, it jumps at us faster than light, but if we do not show fear, it casts its eye upon us gently and then guides us into infinity.

gotta pay to get it done.

@juanme555

In U.S you'd have to go to antique gallery and talk with an expert to get it done most likely.
Your best bet is to do it yourself, it's easy but extremely complex, a pain in the ass but it'll run you like 70$.

@MongolTide

Hey man, I know this was 3 years ago but there is a company that makes them now just google it
