Years ago I fell in love with a man who wasn't really able to love...or to love me. How many times I listened to this song, feeling this pain in my heart, knowing I would never find a Happy end with him. And still I could not let him go. To me this song is only truly going to be understood by a select few. For me it describes a twin flame love. For others it can represent something else. (If you’ve never heard of that before, look it up. It’s intriguing) ..it represents the paradoxical feeling that transcends through love. It’s amazing how one emotion could either be your saving grace or you’re destruction. Ironically it’s not the emotion to blame, It’s us. Ive learned that we have to find the balance and know when to hold on tight and when to release. Until you’ve experienced the pain of wanting to love someone to death but also wanting them to be free then you can’t feel this song the way it’s meant to be felt. It’s the beauty that love can bring, and the sorrow losing it can cause.
