Are your eyes
So fresh
Is your grin
So beautiful
Is your hair
So soft
Is your skin
when I hold you tight?
Lay down in my arms
And everything seems right
So bright
Are your eyes
So fresh
Is your grin
So beautiful
Is your hair
So soft
Is your skin
Do you know how lucky I am
to have you?
You're a little miracle
I know this much is true
The lyrics of Craig Smith's song "Child" express a parent's love and adoration for their child. The song starts with the description of the child's physical features, including their bright eyes, fresh grin, beautiful hair, and soft skin. The parent then expressed how holding the child tight puts them in heaven, and everything feels right. This shows that the child brings immense joy and comfort to the parent, and the sense of safety that they feel while holding the child close is unparalleled.
The second verse of the song talks about how lucky the parent feels to have the child in their life. The parent describes the child as a little miracle, which further reinforces the idea that the child is a constant source of wonder and happiness. Overall, the song is a beautiful tribute to the special bond between parent and child.
