White
Creams Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

In the white room with black curtains near the station
Blackroof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings
Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes
Dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment
I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines

Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves
You said no strings could secure you at the station
Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows
I walked into such a sad time at the station
As I walked out, felt my own need just beginning
I'll wait in the queue when the trains come back

Lie with you where the shadows run from themselves
At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd
Consolation for the old wound now forgotten
Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes
She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings
I'll sleep in this place with the lonely crowd;

Lie in the dark where the shadows run from themselves

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Cream's song White Room, written by Pete Brown and Jack Bruce, have been interpreted in various ways. However, one of the most common interpretations is that it's about a lost love and the sorrow and loneliness that come with it. The "white room with black curtains near the station" is a metaphor for the emptiness and bleakness of the singer's life after the end of the relationship. The "blackroof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings" signifies the desolate and barren landscape that surrounds the singer, highlighting the starkness of his surroundings.

The "silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes" depict the memory of the love interest who had an enchanting quality. Despite the beauty of the person and the memories, the "dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment" indicates that they have parted ways, leaving the singer feeling incomplete and waiting in the place "where the sun never shines" to be reunited with the lost love.

When the singer goes to the station, they encounter the idea that "no strings could secure you," emphasizing the freedom and independence of their lost love. The "restless diesels, goodbye windows" further emphasizes the idea of departure and separation with the trains leaving the station.

However, during the song's bridge, the singer finds hope in the memory of an old flame. The person at this party is described as "kindness" in a "hard crowd," providing "consolation for the old wound now forgotten." The "yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes" suggest a sense of mystery and intrigue surrounding this new person. Despite this, the song ends on a melancholy note. The singer decides to "sleep in this place with the lonely crowd" and "lie in the dark" where the "shadows run from themselves," resting and waiting for the memories to fade slowly.

Here is MY review of this cream.
I used both the lotion and the cream. The lotion worked faster but the jar cream was more moisturizing.
My skin got light quickly and I got compliments. After some months, I started getting sick. I did not suspect it was Carowhite. But then I decided to stop using creams and the sick feeling went away. I went back to Carowhite and I got sick again. So basically any time I used Carowhite it made me sick. I also noticed that my muscles got weak.

Anyway, I took a break and I got VERY dark in a matter of days. I went back to Carowhite AGAIN, I did not get sick this time. But I noticed after a while that I was getting angry and agitated for no reason. It also gave me restless legs. My doctor said that my blood pressure was high, but he couldn’t trace the cause. I just knew it was Carowhite, but I wanted to lighten.

Finally, I took the Carowhite cream to a lab to get it tested, and guess what? They found that it contains MERCURY!!! It contains Mercury and about 5% hydroquinone. The ingredients listed on the bottle is false. Then it made sense why I had those symptoms. Mercury can cause depression, High blood pressure, Cushing syndrome, etc….

In summary, Carowhite gave me thin skin, old looking skin, my pores got so large, restless legs, agitation and anger, high blood pressure, made me hairy, dark lips, etc. Luckily I did not get stretch marks (maybe because I used shea butter).
Please be VERY careful with this cream. Don’t mind people telling you to mix it with oils and other things to be “safe”. There’s nothing you mix with Carowhite that will save you from the horrors. It is a VERY dangerous cream. It contains steroids which is not listed. Pls I beg you, look for a safer alternative, even if the result is slower. This cream is the devil. There’s no safe way to use it.

PS: mixing it with shea butter is a stupid idea because shea butter gets hard with time. Which means it will make your cream hard like a rock. Shea butter is meant to be layered and not mixed.

@SimplyDej

I definitely enjoyed watching and learning. I hear of many products but wasn’t sure of if you had to mix them or just use the product. Thanks for sharing!

@oluwaseunolawumi6948

What about brown skin color ma'am ❤️
Can I use the caro white with the mixture and it's won't have side effects?
And also, can I use groundnut oil instead?

@milambomilambo10

Can you mix caro white with Shea butter, magnolia tissue oil and vitamin E as well ?

@NdusDiary

As a person who gets bullied for being dark, this is very helpful. I personally hate melanin and that’s just my choice.

@higherrealms5309

Very sad….self hate is the quickest route to dis-ease of the body

@NdusDiary

@Higher Realms Babe, You clearly have not dealt with what I have dealt with so please keep your opinion to yourself

@higherrealms5309

@Becoming I'm sure you have dealt with quite a bit, to say the least. And my heart mourns for the pain that your inner child experienced.

But u owe more to yourself than to take on the opinion of those who hurt you. Research melanin. It is the reason why Europeans hate us so much. It is the reason why you have been conditioned to hate yourself! It is your cosmic GIFT!

If you knew how powerful melanin was, you would feel ashamed for saying that you hate it. However, I do understand that none of you would be going thru all these dangerous measures if you felt loved and accepted in the skin you were born in. I hope the world changes soon for the better.

@chlo2820

This is disgusting that u think this way

@irenikusemererwa5841

I prefer using the same mixture both on face and body to get a uniform colour
