1. Comprised of the vicious vampiric vocalist Curtis RX and the ghoulishly fiendish organ master Erik X, the California native horror attraction Creature feature is set to take the underworld by storm. Creating a haunting mix of vintage horror visuals, old school beats, a carnival feel and a strangely rebellious approach to the modern ideals, the two monstrous musicians weave tales of the macabre, creating anthems for the horror minded and horror born alike. Tread carefully and enter their world cautiously, for once their talons are in they are a cancer you can't get out.
2. Another band with the same name that formed in the 90s and have released one album - Retrodemon 263 - and disappeared after its release.

Cast them in water and see if they drown
Cleanse them with fire burn them down
Bury their bones in hollow ground
Here there be witches on the edge of town
Cast them in water and see if they drown
Cleanse them with fire burn them down
Here there be witches on the edge of town
Here there be witches can't you hear their cries?
Cast them with stone and see if they lie
Sever their heads and gouge out their eyes
Recite your prayers in the dead of night
Here there be witches can't you hear their cries?
Demons on the prowl and we must make a stand
Black Soul Devil Spawn inhabit this land
The unpure of heart will fall by your hand
Here there be witches, save our
Souls have been lost as the panic grows
Spells cast over blood and broken bones
An evil stronger than we ever known
Here there be witches and all must die
Here there be witches and they must be slain!
Cut off their flesh and they feel no pain
Shackle their hands with sanctified chains
Snip off their tongues before they speak your name
Here there be witches and they must be slain!
Demons on the prowl and we must make a stand
Black Soul Devil Spawn inhabit this land
The unpure of heart will fall by your hand
Here there be witches, save our
Souls have been lost as the panic grows
Spells cast over blood and broken bones
An evil stronger than we ever known
Here there be witches and all must die
Unholy hexes dark Incantations
Our days are numbered, just sacraficial lambs
Depraved and corrupted agents of darkness
Chosen by the black mark of the beast
Archaic volumes, forbidden writing
Blood ceremonies, Sermons for the dammed
This curse must be lifted before the full moon
Or we're all just meat for the feast
Demons on the prowl and we must make a stand
Black Soul Devil Spawn inhabit this land
The unpure of heart will fall by your hand
Here there be witches, save our
Souls have been lost as the panic grows
Spells cast over blood and broken bones
An evil stronger than we ever known
Here there be witches and all must die

I love the line “press them with stones to see if they lie” in reference to the man who was crushed to death during the time of the Salem Witch Trials.
I mean I guess the whole song is a reference to the Trials but this specific detail was my favorite lmao

All he'd say was "More weight!" too.

tldr If he'd gone to trial he would have lost his stuff, so he refused to plead guilty/not guilty, instead saying "More weight" when prompted. He died without entering a plea, so his descendants got his house and money according to his will, rather than it going to the state (or whatever would have happened). Which, frankly, is one of the most metal things I've ever heard.

I also love "Cast them in water to see if they drown" which was a reference to how they believed witches floated ontop of water is because they believed that, due to trading their souls to Satan, they were denied the Rite of Baptism, which in the mind of the over-religious puritans and other similar zealous religious groups across Europe and America, meant they couldn't go underwater. They believed if someone drowned, they were innocent. Sometimes they did, in fact, fish the person out. Other times they didn't.

In my opinion, this is probably their darkest song to date, or at the very least, the most lyrically brutal.
