1. Comprised of the vicious vampiric vocalist Curtis RX and the ghoulishly fiendish organ master Erik X, the California native horror attraction Creature feature is set to take the underworld by storm. Creating a haunting mix of vintage horror visuals, old school beats, a carnival feel and a strangely rebellious approach to the modern ideals, the two monstrous musicians weave tales of the macabre, creating anthems for the horror minded and horror born alike. Tread carefully and enter their world cautiously, for once their talons are in they are a cancer you can't get out.
2. Another band with the same name that formed in the 90s and have released one album - Retrodemon 263 - and disappeared after its release.

When they were given new life
On the eve of our impending doom
The buried and forgotten
Molding and rotten
Began to stir in their tombs
Here in our darkest of hours
Prepare for the coming dread
Mindless walking things
What horror do they bring
Now their eternal peace is denied
The dearly departed
Are back where they started
And everything's far from alright
They have woken to devour
And this world will run red
The Earth has now grown sour
And it's spitting out the dead
Be warned, be still
Now you can hear them stirring
Clawing at the ceilings of their graves
They're here, they're dead
They're evil and they're hungry
Flesh and sinew and bone have all gone astray
No pulse, no brains
Now you can hear them digging
Corpses transformed into feral beasts
No soul, no hope
No conscience in their bloodlust
They have only come here for one thing
And that's to feast
The hordes of decay
Are crawling this way
And their pouring out into the streets
Lifeless hollow shells
Are escaping their cells
And their dying for something to eat
Here in our darkest of hours
Prepare for the coming dread
An army of death
With their fetid breath
And their skin dangling from their bones
There is no escape
From the most ghastly of fate
For this is how we must atone
They have woken to devour
And this world will run red
The Earth has now grown sour
And it's spitting out the dead
Be warned, be still
Now you hear them stirring
Clawing at the ceilings of their graves
They're here, they're dead
They're evil and they're hungry
Flesh and sinew and bone has all gone astray
No pulse, no brains
Now you can hear them digging
Corpses transformed into feral beasts
No soul, no hope
No conscience in their bloodlust
They have only come here for one thing
And that's to feast
The dead are awake
There's no escape
Tombs asunder
Released from slumber
Peaceful silence
Turned to violence
Will this affliction
Be our downfall
Reanimation, desecration
Death in no longer
The be all end all
Insurrection, resurrection
And out of the mouth of Hades
They have crawled
Be warned, be still
Now you hear them stirring
Clawing at the ceilings of their graves
They're here, they're dead
They're evil and they're hungry
Flesh and sinew and bone has all gone astray
No pulse, no brains
Now you can hear them digging
Corpses transformed into feral beasts
No soul, no hope
No conscience in their bloodlust
They have only come here for one thing
And that's to feast
The lyrics to Creature Feature’s song “Nearly Departed” depict a terrifying scenario of the dead rising from their graves to wreak havoc on the living. The first verse sets the scene with a dark and ominous tone, describing how the buried and forgotten dead “began to stir in their tombs” on the eve of impending doom. The chorus warns of the mindless walking dead and the horror they bring, as they have awoken to devour and leave the world running red. The second verse describes the dead as lifeless, hollow shells escaping their cells, with flesh and sinew and bone gone astray. There is no escape from the ghastly fate of the army of death, who have only come to feast on the living.
The lyrics paint a vivid picture of death, decay, and destruction, with the dead coming back to life to seek revenge on the living. The song can be interpreted as a commentary on the fear of mortality and the inevitability of death, as well as a warning about the consequences of ignoring the past and neglecting the dead.
One interesting fact about “Nearly Departed” is that it was released on Creature Feature’s album “It Was a Dark and Stormy Night,” which was inspired by the horror genre and classic monster movies. Another fact is that the band consists of two members, Curtis RX and Erik X, who both write and produce their own music. The song has been described as a “hard-hitting tribute to the classic zombies of horror cinema.” The band’s music has been used in several movies and TV shows, including “American Horror Story” and “The Simpsons.” The lyrics were written by Curtis RX, and the song was produced by Erik X. The band’s style is often described as a combination of horror punk, new wave, and rockabilly. The chords for the song are not currently available.
In summary, Creature Feature’s “Nearly Departed” is a chilling anthem to the undead, with lyrics that evoke a sense of dread and doom. The song is a testament to the band’s love of classic horror and its ability to create eerie, unsettling music that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

It's the ending, it's the ending of Humanity.
It's the beginning, it's the beginning of Apocalypse.
One more time, a very genial music, the bewitching rythm and the lyric. Really, I love it. Continue like that, guys. You're the bests.

Creature Feature makes the only year-round Halloween music that actually sounds acceptable. Why is this not on the radio!?

+cognitive Apparition If that's the problem I think one of radio in my country could (but idk, I only mentioning it and don't work there or anything) play some music like Creature Feature. They once played something unique like this. It's rock/punk/metal/alternative music rock station called Antyradio.
Sheogorath
The most likely reason is that Curtis can’t find a good enough station to sell his and Erik’s music to.
