1) A G… Read Full Bio ↴There are at least two bands, who share the name "Crematory".
1) A German Death Metal (early), Gothic Metal band formed in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany in 1992.
The German Crematory broke up in 2001 and reformed in 2003 to release the album Revolution, a largely progressive effort which brought the band into more accessible/techno-metal territory than ever before.
Their sound has often been compared to early-Sentenced, Fear Factory, and Dark Tranquillity. The band received its earliest recognition in the mid-1990s by touring with My Dying Bride, Tiamat and Atrocity. Much like the latter two groups, the band had begun as traditional death metal, then evolved with an industrial music and gothic metal musical direction on later albums. The band would receive heavy rotation on MTV Germany, and would also make appearances at various extreme metal festivals, including Germany's Wacken Open Air in the years 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2008, in addition to inclusion on Nuclear Blast compilation samplers.
The band re-signed to Massacre Records in 2006 after a 10 year stint with Nuclear Blast; Massacre had been the band's first label.
Active for almost 20 years (with a brief split between 2001 and 2003) they are among one of Europe's longest running bands affiliated with the gothic metal genre. (source wikipedia.com)
2) A Swedish Death Metal band formed in Haninge, Sweden in 1989.
The Swedish Crematory formed in 1989, and released 4 demos and one EP.
Human Blood
Crematory Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
A human delusion that never rests
Lost all faith fall into hate
Mankind was in blind rage
Human blood - human blood
Unlearn to forgive them, undo me here
Disclaim all I gave you, disdain me now
Unleash the vigor of belief
The eminent power of human being
Carnage and burn in their destiny
Determined handling in fatal distress
Unlearned to forgive you
Disclaimed all I gave you
Human blood trust in mankind
Human blood trust in mankind
The opening lines of Crematory's song, "Human Blood," paint a dark and introspective picture of the state of humanity. The lyrics suggest that life has been wiped out and that love has been shattered, indicating a deep sense of loss and desperation. The following lines acknowledge the human tendency to hold onto illusions and delusions, indicating that humans are unable to rest even in the face of deep suffering. The idea of losing all faith and falling into hate suggests a sense of nihilism or despair, perhaps brought on by a sense that humanity is doomed.
As the song continues, the lyrics become more intense, invoking the power of belief and the destructive potential of the human being. The lines suggest that there is a deep drive within humans to create carnage and destruction, and that this drive may be at odds with our own survival. The lines "determined handling in fatal distress" suggest that the singer of the song is trying to navigate a difficult situation with determined will, indicating a strong desire to overcome the darkness that surrounds them. The song's conclusion is a plea to "trust in mankind," suggesting that despite everything that has happened, there is still hope for the human race.
