Crimson Glory Lyrics

I hear The Chant coming from all around me
Like a blind man who never had his sight
Wishing he could see the light
Desperate ways, desperate days
Are the times we're living in
Looking out, finding out
Realizing that we're living in the last days of living
I can hear the voices begging for mercy
Save us from our sins
Can you hear the voices begging for mercy
Through a window looking out to see
What's waiting for me
Destination I know the way
You can follow me
Desperate ways, desperate days
Are the times we're living in
Looking out, finding out
Realizing that we're living in the last days of living
Chanting around the world
I can hear the voices begging for mercy
Save us from our sins
Can you hear the voices begging for mercy
Desperate ways, desperate days
Are the times we're living in
Looking out, finding out
Realizing that we're living in the last days of living
Chanting around the world
I can hear the voices begging for mercy
Save us from our sins
Can you hear the voices begging for mercy
The lyrics of Crimson Glory's song The Chant convey a sense of desperation and urgency in the face of an impending apocalypse. The Chant refers to the voices of people all around the world, begging for mercy and salvation from their sins. The singer hears these voices both in the daytime and in the night, suggesting that this plea for help is ongoing and constant. The allusion to a blind man who wishes he could see the light reinforces the theme of being lost and in need of guidance.
The singer seems to know the way to salvation, urging others to follow. The line "Through a window looking out to see/ What's waiting for me" could be interpreted as a metaphor for gaining clarity and insight into one's fate. The repetition of the lines "Desperate ways, desperate days/ Are the times we're living in/ Looking out, finding out/ Realizing that we're living in the last days of living" emphasizes the grave sense of danger and fear surrounding the situation.
Ultimately, the song is a plea for help, an attempt to garner attention and response to the voices of those in need. The Chant is a powerful song that captures the feelings of uncertainty and desperation that can arise in times of crisis.

I remember being SO excited seeing Crimson Glory had a new cd, so I bought it.
I remember being SO confused, and EXTREMELY pissed that the power/progressive sound was GONE!!!
Such a let down.
On its own, had it come out before the self titled, and Transcendence, this would have been a decent rock cd, but, they set the bar so fucking high, then kicked the motherfucker in half and beat themselves retarded with it, and released this.
I'll forever be a fan, but, this is not part of their legacy material imo. Not sorry.
