Crosby Bing Lyrics

Laeti triumphantes
Venite, venite in Bethlehem
Natum videte regem angelorum
Venite adoremus
Venite adoremus
Venite adoremus Dominum
O come, all ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem
Come and behold Him
Born the King of Angels
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord
Sing, choirs of angels
Sing in exultation
O sing, all ye citizens of Heav'n above
Glory to God
In the highest
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord
The lyrics to Crosby Bing's song "Adeste Fideles" is an invitation for all faithful believers to come and witness the miraculous occasion of the birth of the King of Angels in Bethlehem. The first verse calls upon the faithful to approach Bethlehem with joyful and triumphant hearts, and to witness the King of Angels. The second verse repeats the invitation and adds that the believers should come and worship the Lord. The chorus continues with the invitation to adore Christ the Lord, which is repeated three times.
The third verse is an invitation for the angels to join in the celebration and sing in exultation. The final line expresses glory to God in the highest, continuing the theme of praise and worship. The chorus is repeated three more times, emphasizing the adoration of Christ the Lord.
The overall message of the song is about the miracle of the birth of Jesus and the joy and celebration that it brings to the faithful. It is a reminder of the importance of praising and worshiping the Lord, especially during this special time of the year.

@@nancycambareri4535 Christ the Lord, not Mary, for His faithful mother Mary herself would, like her Son's Word, condemn all such wicked detraction from her Lord & Son.

My family used to listen to Bing Crosby's Adeste on a 78 rpm record every year at Christmas. My devout mother especially loved it and sang along in her dulcet voice.

Mom used to play this every Christmas over and over again, this whole album is embedded in my head. I'll never forget this album and our Christmas tree lit up with red lights. I'm 58 year's old and every Christmas I put this on. Takes me right back to when I was a kid.
