Eden
Cross-B Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

10 past 12AM
Not too late to sin
Let's get into something
(something, something)
Nothing more than friends that lend helping hands to handle
Tensions high demanding release
Seems like it's one of those nights
(moonlight)
No telling who might
Get caught up in the haze (haze)
So tonight you should
Pull up, pull up to my garden (garden)
Pull up, pull up in my garden (garden)
Water my fruit
You do me, I do you
Slide on me (slide on me, me)
Touching and rubbing
Birds chirping, applauding
My flower bloom to the tune you whisper to she
In too deep (deep, deep, deep)
Pushing my petals back
Stuck on my sticky sap
I need all parts of that
(I'm really hoping you)
Pull up, pull up to my garden (garden)
Pull up, pull up in my garden (garden)

Pull up, pull up to my garden (garden)
Pull up, pull up in my garden (garden)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of “Eden” by Cross-B talks about the simplicity and beauty of life. The first verse talks about waking up and looking into someone’s eyes and how there isn’t any room for negativity in their life. They just want to fly and hang out with their friends on the avenue, and even though there are other options, they don’t want another life. Making love and making rap is the motto they learned from listening to national hip hop. The chorus talks about how even though everything might not be okay, they are thankful for what does make them happy, which is their ticket to Eden. The second verse talks about how their life is simple, even though they have left the ghetto. They have a cat, two friends, and family ties, even if from another woman. They drive their life like NASCAR and can’t be slowed down. They’ve learned that everything happens for a reason, and sometimes what hurts you now will benefit you later. The outro talks about enjoying the little things in life, like smoking a joint in the park, and how each moment is appreciated, and they’re excited to surprise people with their rhymes.
