Crow
Crow Lyrics

We gon be alright uh uh
I know that you were hurt too
And i was the one who hurt you
Im sorry that i disturbed you
I probably dont deserve you
But im still not over you
There were some issues i had to work through, I had to learn and i had to grow too
Instead of speaking i rather show you
I know that you resent me , And right now you probably dont respect me
right now this pain is too refreshing
I just wish that you could except me , We both moved a little bit messy
I couldve fixed it if you let me , But I just wanna see you happy , I just wanna see you laghing
I know that you still love me , Love me
Come and show me some, Come and show me some love
Come and show me some, Come and show me some love
I know that you were hurt too
And Iwas the one who hurt you
Im sorry that i disturbed you
I probably dont deserve you
But im still not over you
There were some issues i had to work through, I had to learn and i had to grow too
Instead of speaking i rather show you
We gon be alright , Come and dance wit me in the neon lights
Wait until the sunrise , Up all night thinking that your hard to come by
What a fun time
We gon be alright, take a chance with me we gon see alright
We gon party til the sundown , Nights like these really fuckin hard to come around
You feel the love now
I know that you still love me , Love me
Come and show me some, Come and show me some love
Come and show me some, Come and show me some love
I know that you were hurt too
and i was the one who hurt you
Im sorry that I disturbed you
I probably dont deserve you
but im still not over you

there were some issues i had to work through, I had to learn and i had to grow too
instead of speaking i rather show you

Think- the Midwest version of
BLACK OAK ARKANSAS band.
Southern man Jim Mangrum and
the vocalst Dave Wagner here were
similar leader types in their own
respective tight pumpin' groups.
There was nobody like 'em.
For those that don't know,
BLACK SABBATH covered
"Evil Woman" from CROW,
so they knew they were good, too.

Being a bass player, I believe all music should be mixed the way these Crow albums are. :)

One who plays an instrument knows the quality of the music and the creative commitment that is in each piece. Large "Crow".

I first heard of Crow when they opened for Janis Joplin (1970, 1971?) at the Nat Guard Armory in downtown Mpls. The first band sucked and shall remain nameless (though I DO remember their name), but when Crow hit the stage, the entire concert changed! I remember David Wagner hiding behind a stack of speakers as Gone, Gone, Gone began, but as his vocals started, he came out of hiding and blew me away!

Of course, Janis was superb, but I looked for Crow's music in the Cedar Ave head shops, and found a couple albums, which I cherished as some of the best rock/blues in the scene. This was my favorite album. Thanks for posting it!

You must have seen Janis Joplin, shortly before she left us forever. This is the best "Crow" album, the second released in 70. The first, Crow music from 69, plus the third "Mosaic" 71 Which are in my possession. However it is a great Band, of "Prog - Hard - Rock - Blues" really special.👍🥂

@councilhillband

We heard them in IA in 1970, and later drank some beers with David, Kink, and Denny in the bar attached to the venue. Great show, great band, and great guys!
