I am
Crowder - Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

There's no space that His love can't reach
There's no place that we can't find peace
There's no end to Amazing Grace

Take me in with your arms spread wide
Take me in like an orphan child
Never let go, never leave my side
I am
Holding on to You
I am
Holding on to You
In the middle of the storm
I am holding on
I am!

Love like this, oh my God to find!
I am overwhelmed what a joy divine!
Love like this sets our hearts on fire!

I am
Holding on to You
I am
Holding on to You
In the middle of the storm
I am holding on
I am!

I am
Holding on to You
I am
Holding on to You
In the middle of the storm
I am holding on
I am!

This is my resurrection song
This is my Hallelujah come
This is why to You I run

This is my resurrection song
This is my Hallelujah come
This is why to You I run

There's no space that His love can't reach
There's no place that we can't find peace
There's no end to Amazing Grace

I am
Holding on to You
I am
Holding on to You
In the middle of the storm
I am holding on

I am
Holding on to You
I am
Holding on to You
In the middle of the storm
I am holding on

I am
Holding on to You
I am
Holding on to You
In the middle of the storm
I am holding on
I am!

I am
In the middle of the storm

I am holding on
I am!

His words:

“From the very moment I heard your prayers and your praise, it was music to my ears and a symphony to my heart. For I have heard the cries of my people and I am coming down to deliver them out of their place of bondage.

And no more will you be tossed to and fro, like winds of adversity that have tried to weigh you down. But know that I AM standing at the door, and I AM taking your hand and pulling you out of your circumstances into my abundant life.

I AM removing the cloudy areas in your thinking, that the enemy set up to divide you and confuse you. You will see a bright light of deliverance that will wash away all dark areas and you will know that truly, I the Lord, have delivered you and set you free. This will begin an unveiling, a time of uplifting, and no more will things remain the same. For the very heavens will declare that you as a people are mine.

I have taken off the old garments and have placed upon you the new…. so that you may fulfill your purpose and your calling.

There will be peace within thy gates and laughter among those who’s captivity has been turned. Even those who have been humiliated by circumstances, will now receive their portion.

Restoration will take it’s rightful place and your place of authority will mark this time. All will know that, this is my doing, for it was bowls of the prayers of those have remained faithful, that cried out unto me.

So come before me, rejoicing and dancing with praise. As I turn, change, and transform many for my glory. Fear will loose it’s footing. For truly the kingdom is at hand, as I stand in this place.

For I AM your great King.”

My wife had a stroke, I was driving home at 3:30 am from the Hospital crying and crying out to God when this song came on the radio. God knows what I needed to hear at the right time. This song got me through the next couple days as I held on to God and His promises singing it over and over again. By the way my wife is almost totally healed from the stroke yet she is better than she was before the stroke. God is good all the time, not because we are good but because He is good no matter what.

A similar thing happened with me too. Very recently. My grandmother was covid positive and from her our entire family got affected. Except me, my cousin sister and my sister's father was negative. All the other members in the family was hospitalised and then a few days back my grandmother passed away. I was mentally unstable. But I held onto my faith and suddenly I found this song and I really want to dedicate this song to Jesus. I wanna cry out to Him. This song speaks exactly the words of my heart. ❤❤

This was my auntie's favourite song before she died, she had cancer and she listened to this at least once a day. This song was played at her funeral, and I still cry every time I hear it. I miss her so much, please pray for me.
