Prejudice
Crucifix Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
their laws not made for justice
their live, i want no part of this, your death , dig your
own grave or go your own way
who are these men running with guns
what pleasures do they find as death comes
murdering
idiots they walk our streets
(chorus)
governments don't care they make no
distinctions
ten tons for eac, take no ultimatumn
how will you feel, the proud falther of a corpse
bearing children with
no chance for survival
(chorus)
for the architects of hate
they build their cities upon ignorance and prejudice
technologies and advancements are created to squander lives
from them there's no place to run
nowhere to hide
(chorus)
to
live and die that can't be wrong
they'll see you dead before too long
their treacherous ways to get at you
atrocities are
still committed, they hide the truth
The song "Prejudice" by Crucifix condemns the systemic and institutionalized discrimination that still exists in society. The lyrics emphasize on the idea that prejudice has been bought by individuals, and they have designed laws that are not made for justice. The song highlights that living in a world that is governed by prejudice is intolerable and unacceptable. The singer vocalizes his rejection of such ways of life and refuses to be associated with individuals who practice it. The lyrics also call for such individuals to take responsibility for their wrongdoings, to dig their own grave and to bear the shameful consequences of their actions.
The chorus emphasizes how governments do not have any empathy for the people they govern, where making no distinctions, they can sentence someone to death, bearing children with no chance for survival. The governments are portrayed as immoral and inhumane, where their only agenda is to maintain their power, even if it costs destroying someone's life. Moving forward, the song highlights the way in which individuals who possess hatred and prejudice, build the foundation of their cities, promising progress while making no consideration of the consequences of their actions. Through these lyrics, the song calls for an end to the inequalities and injustices that still exist in society.

I JUST RAVED ABOUT CRUCIFIX'S 1983 HARDCORE ALBUM DEHUMANIZATION. NOW LET'S ISOLATE ONE OF MY FAVORITE TRACKS FROM THE LP
Sothira Pheng's voice is a bit difficult to understand since he still has an accent so here are the lyrics to the magnificent Prejudice. Many of these songs are political and socially conscious. Sothira escaped from the repressive Khymer Rouge regime in Cambodia and came to America. Righteous words here, bro.
