1) Crush (크러쉬), born Shin Hyo-Seob on May 3, 1992, is a South-Korean R&B and hip-hop singer, rapper and songwriter. He is a member of the hip-hop crews Fanxy Child, Club Eskimo, and VV:D.
2) Crush were formed in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1996 and featured Donna Air and Jayni Hoy (both then-teenage actresses in BBC TV's 'Byker Grove'). They released two singles in the UK, jellyhead and luv'd up, but disappointing sales led to their debut album teenage kicks (which included a cover of we got the beat) being shelved. Jayni Hoy then quit the duo and a replacement, Luciana Caporaso, was drafted in. This line up released a remixed version of the debut album, now called crush, in the USA on Robins Records, in 1997. Much more dance/Europop orientated than the indie-pop of previous singles, this album retains the original vocals from Jayni on 8 of the 12 tracks, including several compositions by saint etienne vocalist Sarah Cracknell (rumor has it that the band were managed by her mum!). After the band split, Air moved into TV presenting, whilst Caporaso went on to front Shooter and electro-rock act Portobella.
3) The solo project of current Beach Fossils' drummer, Tom Gardner.

7) Hailing from Newfoundland and most recently based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Crush comprise Paul Lamb and Cory Tetford. Other members have included Santiago Serna, Scott MacFarlane and Brian Talbot. They have released two albums, 2002's Here and 2003's Face in the Crowd.
8) Crush was a British pop band of the early 1970s. The group was already active in Kent when, in late 1972, it was joined by guitarist and Moog player Rick Foster, who had just left Chicory Tip. The band recorded a single, a cover version of Giorgio Moroder's 'Today's A Tomorrow', which sounded very Chicory Tip-ish. It was the band's only single. Crush folded and Rick Foster moved on to Edison Lighthouse.

Crush Lyrics

I'm starting to believe them
I'll throw it all away
for something I don't know
I haven't lived my life yet
Start to live my life right now
and I need a way of achieving
and I got a way of achieving now
I don't wanna fight
I don't wanna behave
I just wanna live
Who gave you the right
To come down on me
I just wanna live
People wanna know all the stories
And I wish I could help them
So I'll break the chain
of rumors that ruin all
And I don't know what love is
How about I know what love is now
And I need something to believe in
I got something to believe in now
I don't wanna fight
I don't wanna behave
I just wanna live
Who gave you the right
To come down on me
I just wanna live
And I don't know what love is
How about I know what love is now
And I need something to believe in
I got something to believe in now
And I don't know what love is
How about I know what love is now
I don't wanna fight
I don't wanna behave
I just wanna live
Who gave you the right
To come down on me
I just wanna live
The lyrics to Crush's song "Live" seem to be a rebellious shout-out to anyone who has ever tried to hold the singer back from living his life the way he wants to. The opening lines suggest that some people consider him crazy, but rather than ignoring these negative comments, he admits that he's starting to believe them. However, he's also willing to throw everything away for something unknown, suggesting that he's ready for a new adventure.
Throughout the song, he repeats his desire to just live his life without other people's interference. He questions why anyone would have the right to bring him down or criticize him. He also acknowledges that he's been the subject of gossip and rumors, so he wants to set the record straight and break the chain of negativity.
Finally, he touches on the theme of love, saying that he doesn't know what love is yet, but he's found something to believe in. This could refer to a romantic love interest or simply a passion or purpose that gives him direction and motivation. Whatever it is, it's clear that he's ready to live fully and embrace it.
Overall, the lyrics to "Live" are uplifting and encouraging. Crush seems to be saying that it's okay to be a little crazy, to take risks, and to stand up for yourself in the face of criticism or judgement. He emphasizes the importance of living life on your own terms and finding something worth believing in.

I’ve been to 20+ Dave concerts,. Watched this one live. This specific performance of this specific song is the best it gets. I find myself playing it all of the time.

Just saw this live too at their concert in NH. So great, and especially with the extended jam at the end.

Just love the parts where they are jamming and smiling. Music makes me feel alive when I’m feeling down. It helps me escape the pressure and negativity of this world. It’s really a language all humans can understand and feel in their soul. Such a beautiful gift to have music.
