Renaissance
Cruz de Hierro Lyrics

That has last a hundred years
We're living in a nigthmare
And now is time to break free
- Come and see all around you
The power is in your hands
Against the monster market
Break free from the illusion
Use your voice and make a stand
Plastic music makes confusion
Don't let them tell you what to say
- Come and see all around you
The power is in your hands
Against the monster market
Ride the storm and go to war
See, go on and follow your dreams
Open your mind and your ears
Music is art not back beats
The lyrics of Cruz de Hierro's song Renaissance paint a picture of a society that has been living in darkness and nightmares for a hundred years. The song encourages listeners to break free from this cycle and see the power they hold in their hands. The monster market is referenced, and the song suggests that going to war against it is necessary. The illusion is to be broken, and the listener is urged to use his voice and take a stand. The use of plastic music is seen as confusing, and the song demands that listeners not be told what to say. Instead, they should follow their dreams, open their minds and ears, and recognize that music is indeed an art, not just a collection of backbeats.
The song hints at a revolutionary spirit that is needed to break free from the oppressive society that has held us captive for so long. The lyrics call for a rebellion against the monster market that controls the music industry, and they encourage people to use their voices and take a stand. The song is a call to action for listeners to wake up from the nightmare they are living in and to take part in the Renaissance that is to come.
