I was drifting through the garden;
I wandered aimlessly through the garden;

pale white lilies passed my way
I saw pale, white lilies as I walked;

Small grey women standing
Tiny, grey women were standing;

petrifyed on the holy ground
They were frozen solid on sacred land;

Their faces left me with a smile
For some reason seeing them made me happy;

The lilies blind me in the fading light of dusk

And the statues still followed on my way
The statues still seemed to be watching me as I walked;

Until the road diverged into two
Eventually, the path split into two;

I closed my eyes and took the one less traveled by
I chose to take the road less traveled by closing my eyes and walking down it;

It went on downwards while the night began to reign
The path went down while the darkness settled;

And as I swayed into the darkness
I stumbled into the dark;

It grew colder through an atmosphere of tears

Then a step too far - I tumbled in the depths
I took a step too far and stumbled into a deep hole;

I felt some clods thrown on my back
I could feel dirt being thrown on my back;

Coloured flowers drizzled side by side
Flowers of different colors fell next to me;

As I was falling into empty space
As I was free-falling;

I nearly heard the women whisper
I almost heard the women whisper;

"Just stay true to yourself"
"Just be true to yourself"

But I couldn't realize a word
But I didn't quite understand what they meant;

It seemed to me as if the journey`s taking ages
It felt like the journey was taking forever;

The awful blackness afflicted all my petty wishes
The horrible darkness crushed all my trivial desires;

At last the glittering swarm of white doves did appear
Finally, a sparkling group of white doves showed up;

With a snow white net weaved of spinning nettles in their bills
They had a white net made of spinning nettles in their beaks;

Known to me as the defence of dreams
I recognized it as the defense of dreams;

I plunged into the web as hard as stone
I jumped into the net with all my might;

So it cought me grievously
And it caught me terribly;
