Curren$y had an underground hit in 2006, Where Da Cash At, which can be heard on several of Lil' Wayne's mixtapes, including Dedication 2. He was featured on Lil Wayne's song "Grown Man" from the album Tha Carter II. Due to certain issues concerning the release of his album Music 2 Fly 2, he left Young Money and formed his Fly Society crew with professional skateboarder and rapper Terry Kennedy.
He has since focused on his Jets movement, which helped introduce various rappers such as Trademark da Skydiver, Young Roddy, Fendi P and T.Y., as well as slightly reintroduce No Limit veteran Fiend to new audiences. He later started to work in New York with Ski Beatz and other MCs at Dame Dash's DD172; where he released Pilot Talk and its sequel Pilot Talk II both in 2010, and was also featured on several songs on Ski Beatz' 24 Hour Karate School. Since then, Curren$y has put out eight more albums, 25 EPs and 43 mixtapes.

In this song, Curren$y teams up with fellow rappers, Romeo and Silkk to deliver a hip hop track that oozes extravagance and wealth. The song is a reflection of the wealth and opulent lifestyle that the rappers live. The introductory verse speaks about how the rappers would rather buy cars from their own garage than visit a car dealer. Master P, one of the featured artists in the song, speaks about the luxuries he owns, like his house with marble floors and solid gold ceilings. The rappers brag about their cars, clothing, and private jets, and how they can fly to France to have lunch or chill out of the country whenever they please. The chorus states that the lifestyle these rappers portray is nothing out of the usual for them, which is why it is "nothing" to them.
The first verse talks about how the cars have doors that can be lifted to open, among other features that make them stand out. All the rappers claim that their cars and trucks are chromed and have TVs, and they can easily afford to fly to France just for lunch. They are ultra-rich, and they don't take that for granted. The second verse introduces the monumental wealth of Master P, a billionaire rapper; owning a home with marble floors, solid gold ceilings, and his mother's home across the street. He also has a helicopter and a private doctor, and he claims to own a bank too. The third verse is about Romeo, who is just thirteen years old, and how he has his own record label; he also owns a white dog named Dollar, and luxurious cars with his name painted on them. The final verse talks about how Curren$y recently bought a Benz, which they spent $100000 on, and he's bought another four for friends.
