Home Again
Curtis Stigers Lyrics

If I'm ever gonna make it home again
It's so far and out of sight
I really need someone to talk to
And nobody else knows how to comfort me tonight
Snow is cold, rain is wet
Chills my soul right to the marrow
I won't be happy
Till i'm home again and feeling right
I wanna be home again and feeling right
The song "Home Again" by Curtis Stigers is a heartfelt ballad about the longing for home and the comfort it brings. The lyrics express a sense of loneliness and isolation, as the singer wonders if he will ever make it back to the place where he belongs. The repetition of the phrase "home again" reinforces the importance of this place to the singer, and the sense of urgency he feels in wanting to return.
The lyrics also highlight the emotional impact of physical sensations, such as cold snow and wet rain, which serve as a metaphor for the internal pain the singer is experiencing. He needs someone to talk to, someone who can comfort him, but he can't find anyone who understands his feelings.
Despite the difficult emotions expressed in the song, there is a glimmer of hope in the final lines. The singer declares that he won't be happy until he is back home again, feeling right. This suggests that he believes that returning to his home will bring him the peace and comfort he needs to feel whole again.
