History
Formation and early years
Cygnosic first appeared as a music act in late 2006 on MySpace.[1] In 2007, the band was discovered by Brandon L. Clark, manager of the Industrial Music Label BLC Productions based in Little Rock, Arkansas. He offered Cygnosic an album deal. During 2008, Georg Psaroudakis recorded his first album with sound engineer Dimitris Douvras of Lunatech Sounds Studio.[citation needed] In early 2009, the debut album A Deity In Pain was released and distributed by Metropolis Records of in North America and by E-Noxe in Europe. After a year, BLC Productions terminated its operations and released its artists from their contracts.[citation needed]
During 2010, Cygnosic started performing electronic concerts around Greece while writing his second album. While samples of the second album were sent to all major Dark Electro/Industrial labels, Cygnosic got rediscovered by Jamie Nova, manager of DWA (Digital World Audio, former Deathwatch Asia), an electronic music label based in Osaka, Japan.[2] After an introductory EP release,[3] the second album titled Fallen was released in 2011.[4]
Later
In 2013, the third studio album titled Fire And Forget was released in two versions, a European one by the German label Black Rain and an international one by DWA.[5] Cygnosic started touring in Russia, United Kingdom and the rest of the Europe to promote the album.
In 2014, Psaroudakis returned to the studio to write his fourth eponymous album, a double album consisting of one electronic set and one metal set. The metal set included metal versions of selected electro tracks picked from his earlier albums. Psaroudakis played the drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals. The electronic set was released prior to the full album version. Orkus magazine printed 62,000 copies in its twentieth anniversary issue.[6] In 2015, an EP titled The Key was released in vinyl.[7] In 2016, after a series of European concerts, the fifth album, Siren, was in process with the support of a crowdfunding campaign. It was released in DigiBook in 2017.[8][9][10]
Cygnosic has done remixes for other bands and was remixed by other bands more than 90 times.[citation needed] It has performed in concerts around the world and appeared in festivals including WGT (Leipzig (Germany)),[11] Summer Darkness (Utrecht Netherlands),[12] Resistanz (Sheffield UK).

Inside
Now, as I step into light
Contribution on this final act
I know it's here
Disturbed and distracted
For I have seen these lies
I've learned demise
Can't you see?
Don't you know?
True solution
Read the last remark
Hold my hand
As we escape
Again
The lyrics to CygnosiC's song Escape seem to touch on themes such as disillusionment with society, the search for truth and the ultimate quest for freedom. The lines "I cry inside / Now, as I step into light" could perhaps be interpreted as a metaphor for the individual's inner turmoil as they navigate through the often corrupt and deceiving external world. The line "Disturbed and distracted / For I have seen these lies" seems to further emphasize the notion of disillusionment, suggesting that the singer has seen through the illusion of societal norms and is struggling to find their footing in this new reality.
The lines "Control below / Can't you see? / Don't you know? / True solution / Read the last remark" perhaps allude to the idea that the real solution to societal problems lies not in the hands of those in positions of power but rather with the individual themselves. The last line "Hold my hand / As we escape / Again" provides a sense of hope and unity, suggesting that in the face of adversity, we can find strength and solace in each other's company and support as we try to escape the negativity and confusion that surrounds us.
