Break Up To Make Up
Cynthia Lyrics

Never seem to make you happy though heaven knows I try
What does it take to please you? Tell me just how
I can satisfy you woman, you're drivin me wild
Break up to make up, that's all we do
First you love me then you hate me, that's a game for fools.
Break up to make up that's all we do,
When I come home from workin, you're on the phone
Talkin about how bad I treat you, now tell me I'm wrong
You say it's me who argues, I'll say it's you
We have got to get together or baby, were through.
Break up to make up, that's all we do
First you love me then you hate me, that's a game for fools.
Break up to make up, that's all we do
Yeah, first you love me then you hate me, that's a game for fools.
Break up to make up, that's all we do
Yeah, first you love me then you hate me, that's a game for fools.
Break up to make up, that's all we do,
First you love me then you hate me, that's a game for fools.
The song Break Up To Make Up by Cynthia is a soulful rendition of a couple's tumultuous relationship, where the lyrics express the frustration and confusion of the male partner. The lyrics start with him pleading with his partner to tell him what he is doing wrong and how he can make her happy. Despite his best efforts, the woman is not satisfied, and he feels helpless and wild with emotion.
The next lines of the lyrics reveal the cycle of their relationship. They continually break up and make up, but it is a game of fools because they cannot seem to find a way to resolve their issues. The man feels trapped in this cycle and does not understand why they cannot just stay together without the constant back and forth.
In the final verse, the man expresses the difficulty of the situation, with the woman criticizing him when he comes home from work and blaming him for everything wrong in their relationship. He knows they have to find a way to come together and work it out before it is too late.
