1. Cynthia Torres, better known as Cynthia is an Hispanic-American Freestyle music singer of Puerto Rican descent. She began her career at the age of sixteen singing in a group with future fellow freestyle artist Sa-Fire, who landed Cynthia an audition for a record producer. Two weeks later, she landed a contract for MicMac Records. In her first (eponymous) album, Cynthia hit it big in 1990 with the classic club hits โChange On Meโ, and โEndless Nightsโ. She had a second successful album with โCynthia IIโ. Since signing with Tommy Boy Records in 1992, her career has met with somewhat less success, with just a few minor club hits.
2. Cynthia Deyanira Rodrรญguez Ruiz (born May 5, 1984 in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico) is a Mexican singer and reality television personality
She was a contestant on the reality TV show La Academia, coming in fourth place. Rodrรญguez later competed on the reality show Desafio de Estrellas. She was voted off the show right before the finals, with only five other contestants left. Her album Soy was released in June 2006, just as she left Desafio de Estrellas. She was selected to sing the theme song for a television series on TV Azteca, called Looking for a Man.
Cynthia later played an important antagonist role in a Mexican "telenovela" called Bellezas Indomables. Concurrently, her second album Provocame was released in March, 2008.
In the present, Cynthia is playing the role of the protagonist's best friend in the "telenovela" Mujer Comprada, which airs daily on TV Azteca. At the same time, she is the hostess of a music videos show called Festival Azteca Music, which airs weekly on Azteca America. She is also planning the release of her third album for 2010.

Oh baby girl I am so sad to hear about your father. My deepest heartfelt condolences. I am shocked to hear you are only 11 and you listen to this music. You are a diamond in the rough. Not a lot of people still know about this music. Let alone somebody your age. You are a very special child.
This music has a unique mid 80's to mid 90's sound. You just don't find this sound today. Another genre close to this sound was Asian Breakbeats. I am White too like you, but my Asian friends showed me this music around the year 2000 and it quickly became one of my favorites!
It has a very similar sound to freestyle as it took a lot of inspiration from that genre and hip hop as well as other urban music. It just mixed those sounds into electronic music like Trance and other EDM. So if you like this you should check out Asian Breakbeats.
