baroque and beyond
I enjoy that kind of music in small amounts, but I'm salivating for something new along the lines of Via Crucis or Teatro d'Amore. L'Arpeggiata does such amazing things with baroque music!

Thanks for the clear description and the lyrics. Most helpful. 💐
baroque and beyond
It's on the Teatro d'Amore Monteverdi by L'Arpeggiata. I hope they will record more baroque in the future! I admit I was underwhelmed by the Pajaros Perdidos project, aside from Ay, Este Azul.

I have this on a CD, but which one was that again....But... goosebumps all over again!

I was in doubt between that one and a CD full of Lamenti, (also breathtaking!) but that was done by Emanuelle Haim. I loved Arpeggiata's Via Crucis CD too. I liked the Los Pajaros Perdidos-song from that CD very much though. It was a really refreshing new rendition from a very classic tango. But if you're not into Latin music, the entire CD is probably not your cup of tea, I agree.
