Questioning the necessity and reasoning behind engaging in battles or confrontations with others.

Wondering why morality and personal beliefs are often used to justify acts of violence towards others.

While we fight for what remains
While others are struggling to maintain what little resources and necessities are left over.

The rich getting richer
The wealthy class continually acquiring more wealth and assets, while the lower classes remain stagnant or even takes a hit financially.

While the poor become slaves
The impoverished or struggling populations becoming trapped and subjugated by the financial and political struggles they find themselves in.

We kill our own brothers
Our own family and familiarity, our own communities and countries engage in acts of hostility and war.

The truth is never told
The real details or background to a situation or event may be concealed or misrepresented to those who are not in power or control.

If victory is freedom
If the ultimate prize is to secure our own freedom as people or groups.

Then the truth is untold
The hard or mysterious backstory to the situation in question, the price that must be paid or the sacrifices that would be made is withheld and obscured.

Surrender your soldiers
Vulnerability and submission or surrender of one's fighting forces, troops or resources.

Like everyone else
Everyone must submit to the same expectations and relinquish themselves or their forces.

If love is my religion
If love is the central tenet or guiding belief or practice that I follow.

Don't speak for myself
I should not require others to speak for me, but rather should be allowed to express myself and seek out the love and respect that I require.

I'm living this life
I am actively experiencing this existence, with all of its highlights and disappointments.

I am misleading others, whether through intentional deceit or by plainly withholding the truth from them.

Why must I give up my life in the pursuit of what you deem right and just.
