Way back in the day when it debuted at first I thought “Fine - YES! but too much”. I actually avoided the video BUT I loved every word and every note of the song. So I listened to it over and over. Then went back and watched the video again — my whole view changed.
It’s very sexy but not simply because he’s fine and naked. It’s greatly because he’s being very vulnerable from the inside out - he laid his heart and himself bare and declares “I want to take the walls down with you”.
He told his truth, shared his heart and said “you got me right where you want me” … but “you decide”.
Strong, vulnerable, willing to wait, asks if you good wit all this (how does it feel?) — Yeah SEXY!!
There are those that may never get past that beautiful brown skin but if you truly listen there is so much more there. It really was masterfully done.
