Reflections
DíSA Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Up of the surface of my mind
Taking me closer to (?) state
I want to stay there this time
I feel feel feel the pressure fading
Oh, with you is where the heavy waiters are (?)
I feel feel feel the pressure fading
I go from greater colors
Everything then falls
Lost the mirrors
With you
From still to motion
Everything unties
In for my reflection, with you
With you
If I should have myself wonder back now
Under the surface again
Yours and will bring me right back when I wake
Up from this (?)
I feel feel feel the pressure fading
Oh, with you is where the heavy waiters are
I feel feel fell the pressure fading
Oh, with you is where the heavy waiters are
I go from greater colors
Everything then falls
Lost the mirrors
With you
From still to motion
Everything unties
In for my reflection, with you
With you
Lost the mirrors
In for my reflection, with you
The lyrics to the song "Reflections" by DíSA seem to be about finding a place of rest and peace in one's mind. The singer talks about a place that is above the surface of the mind that takes them closer to a state of calmness. The line "I feel feel feel the pressure fading" emphasizes the release of tension and pressure that comes with finding this place of peace, which is identified with being with someone else. The lines "Oh, with you is where the heavy waiters are" suggests that the singer finds solace in the company of someone else, who helps lift the weight of their worries and anxieties, and allows for the pressure to fade away.
The chorus repeats the phrase "I go from greater colors / Everything then falls / Lost the mirrors / With you / From still to motion / Everything unties / In for my reflection, with you / With you / Lost the mirrors / In for my reflection, with you." This seems to describe a transformation that occurs when the singer is with this person, as colors become brighter, everything falls into place, and the singer finds clarity about their own reflection. In these lyrics, it is not clear what "lost the mirrors" means - it could suggest a loss of self-awareness, or simply that the singer has found someone in the other person that is more reflective of who they want to be.
Overall, "Reflections" seems to be a song about the power of companionship and human connection in finding inner peace and clarity. The lyrics suggest that the company of another person can transform one's mental state, allowing one to find a sense of calm and ultimate reflection.
