With that and playing instruments under the instruction of his grandfather, D-Mac essentially established his passion for music. By the time he had reached middle school he had his own name and joined a trio. Going by the name “D The Playa” in the group ” 2 REAL “, he spent his time spreading his name and talent through joining ciphers and local rap battles. ” I’d battle any and everybody” he recalls.”
I was the safest bet in the hood for a while, until everyone pretty much knew not to battle me “.
