'Isolation' was re-recorded for entry into neworderonline's 'Community 2' competition.
Most of the tracks are works-in-progress - those uploaded here are the most finished so far & even then 'Use Me' is limited by using only the guide vocal.
NEW track uploaded 3-Dec-08 - http://www.last.fm/music/D-plus/_/Shoot+Through+The+Space It's free to listen like the previous 3 uploaded. It's an instrumental I did back in 2004 which I only finished off this week - as a break from trying to come up with new stuff!
I've finally started working on a few NEW tracks - still early stages yet, working titles so far include:
"All Over Again" (is instrumental at the moment, but I have a few lyric ideas)
"Reflect On Me" (will probably be a 'Slits' track)
"Face Down" (about drink)
Plan is to do some rough drafts & post these here in the autumn - all if I can find the time!
(Didn't get the time so new plan now is to try to record these over the holidays.)

No more bloody games no fooling around
I am like a rock and rolling forever
I’m what I am stop being a clown
Don’t hide it – Don’t fight it - I'm gonna turn it on
I'm burning – No turning - I give it all
I Make the move - I reach the sky
I don’t give a damn about Mister No one
I’m not gonna change stop dragging me down
Sinners take it all no time for losers
Right between the eyes still loud and proud
So you wanna be a bad boy
Just look at me
In D-plus's song "Decadent," the lyrics convey a sense of frustration and a desire to break free from societal expectations and constraints. The singer is tired of playing by the rules and being perceived as a "nice guy." They no longer want to engage in mind games and are ready to embrace their true self, which they compare to a rock that rolls on forever. They are done with being a clown and are determined to be authentic.
The lyrics encourage embracing one's true nature and not suppressing it. The singer urges themselves and others to stop hiding and fighting their true desires and intentions. They are ready to unleash their inner fire and passion, refusing to hold back. They want to make bold moves and reach for the sky, unapologetic for their actions and choices.
The song also touches upon the rejection of societal expectations and the dismissal of those who try to bring the singer down. They do not care about the opinions of others, particularly those who try to diminish their worth. The singer asserts their strength and pride, declaring that they are not going to conform or be weighed down by negativity.
Overall, "Decadent" is a rebellious anthem, encouraging self-expression and the rejection of societal norms and expectations.

My minimalist wallet is starting to unravel, I went with an elastic fabric type, mostly because of the color selection. It was time for something more durable, I just ordered the red one, so I can spot it more easily when I absent-mindedly lay it down somewhere.
Effortless Gent
heh good plan! Yeah my first minimal wallet was one of those magic wallet styles, so the elastic loosened up within at least a year. didn't last very long.

Good review and I just bought a leather wallet that is pretty much the same thing -- just a stack of cards with leather on top and bottom (No sides.) This metal one is darn nice looking and has fewer things to break than a Ridge wallet.
Your Extraness caption drove me a little nuts, though. Had to freeze the video just right to see it. You could have caption onscreen a little longer.

Hey, does the money clip take up space allotted for the card capacity. Example-if you have the 5 card wallet and add a money clip, will it reduce the card capacity to 4 cards?
Thanks.
Effortless Gent
Nope, not in my experience. I have the money clip + 6 cards total (1 is a thin metro card)

If you buy a 5 card and only carry 2 cards at times, is there a lot of slop in it? Will the 2 cards stay in, or do they fall out?
john sinclair
Thanks for the timely response. This is one reason you are well respected.
Effortless Gent
there's a tiny bit of movement up and down, which is kind of expected since it's not full. But the cards definitely stay in and do not slip out at all. Each card stays securely locked in, even if it's just one card
Geoff Hamby
How does it handle in a back pocket? I don’t think I’d want a stack of cards in my front pocket.
