Born with a very strong feeling for rhythm and able to detect nuances in music that others do not hear.
Gifted with an exceptional sense and awareness of music.
Develops with everything a DJ nowadays need to be successful.
In winter 2008 he had his first performance at a major event with an audience of over thousand people and demonstrated to everyone that he is a natural talent. It was already obvious that he had developed an extraordinary high level of musical maturity. Since then every year D-wayne has been able to gain more exposure on stages of big in- and outdoor festivals and large events in both the Netherlands and Belgium.
His talent and passion let him create music productions that are appealing to many. In 2011 D-wayne's high potential was discovered by Afrojack who released a music track of him on his label "Wall Recordings". Shortly after another music track came out on Steve Aoki's record label "Dim Mak Records" in the USA that was followed by a second release half a year later. D-wayne's first track out on this label was played by Armin van Buuren for an audience of 250,000 people and has been played for over a year in the sets DJs Gabriel & Dresden did all over the globe.
Also his perfect feeling for remixing music tracks of other artists and composers has been recognized by leading names in the Dance industry which has resulted in stunning remixes for i.a. Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, Martin Kierszenbaum (the man behind Lady Gaga) and R3hab.
Besides Armin van Buuren and Gabriel & Dresden also other A-list deejays are supporting his tracks and remixes including Afrojack, Tiësto, David Guetta, Steve Aoki and the famous Pete Tong.
Since his first live show at the end of 2008 it is fair to say that D-wayne has gained much respect and popularity in the entertainment circuit where his roots and development are now being compared to those of established deejays. His ability and technical skills working with the DJ decks are becoming his calling card and his sense of what audiences want to hear is highly developed.
Both radio stations and the press have put the spotlights on him by reporting about his remarkable career so far though being yet only eighteen years young.
D-wayne's breadth of talent marked both by his infectious choice of music and DJ style as well as the music productions and remixes he is delivering, have attracted the attention of many in- and outside of the Dance industry in the Netherlands as well as other countries in Europe and large parts of the USA.
Fellow deejays compliment his talent and many in the music business foresee a big future for him on the DJ podium as well as in the field of producing and remixing tracks. At the beginning of 2013 he signed to Afrojack’s Wall Recordings after being selected to join the team by Afrojack himself who set eyes on him after D-wayne's first release on his recordlabel and has been watching his progress ever since.
It has often been said already by insiders that in the way he is developing, he is going to be a force to be reckoned with at the highest levels of the profession.

I was in the woods
And it was all too much
I never said I could
Then I saw your face
And it was all too much
Then I fell off the edge
When I felt your touch
The planet was starving for air
I was laying low playing my guitar
While they were burning I was sat in my car
And I turn my keys in the ignition now
And I didn't know what I was doing but now I do
When I felt your touch
When I felt your touch
Now I know your touch
When I felt your touch
And I turn my keys in the ignition now
And I didn't know what I was doing but now I do
When I felt your touch
When I felt your touch
Now I know your touch
I swear the sky was burning
That's why the ash was falling down on me
I jumped into the water
And started swimming
Down into the bottom of the ocean
Cos I didn't think it'd follow me down
I was sinking to the bottom of the ocean
Cos I didn't wanna be in hell
But it was never burning
It was all a dream
It was all a dream
It was all a dream
It was all a dream
It was all a dream
It was all a dream
The sky was never on fire
It was all a dream
It was all a dream
The world was never burning
It was all a dream
The lyrics of D-wayne's song "Ignition" seem to describe a personal transformation and escape from a difficult situation. The singer initially feels overwhelmed and lost, comparing themselves to being out of the race and in the woods, unable to handle the pressure. However, everything changes when they encounter someone special.
When the singer sees this person's face, it becomes a turning point for them. Their perspective shifts, and they feel an intense connection. This connection pushes them to take risks and step off the edge, metaphorically representing a significant change or leap of faith.
The second part of the song introduces a contrast between the singer's previous state of being and the world's troubles. While others are in turmoil and chaos, they find solace in their own world, playing their guitar and staying away from the madness. But with their newfound clarity, they decide to act and take control.
Turning the keys in the ignition is a metaphor for starting a journey or taking action. The singer realizes they didn't know what they were doing before, but now they understand and feel empowered. The touch of this special person has awakened them to their own strength and purpose.
The dream-like ending of the song suggests that the chaos and destruction described earlier were never truly real. It was all just a dream. The sky was never on fire, and the world was never burning. The singer's transformation and newfound perspective allowed them to escape the illusion of their fears and limitations.
Overall, "Ignition" portrays a story of personal growth and empowerment, fueled by a profound connection with someone special. It illustrates the transformative power of love and how it can inspire individuals to overcome obstacles and find their true path.
