8/3/2023 My wife & I are looking back on 54 yrs of being in each other's lives & don't you know I saw her reminiscing on her own. She asked me what song do I want to hear. (Just a few days ago) I am 79 yrs young. I requested this song. Got up in the club in Reseda, CA with friend pushing me to sing. Band member asked for someone to sing. Friend says, "He can"...and I sang! Lots of applause....Those were the days! Young people, if you have a dream, pursue it. Don't stop or let anyone detour it!! Played this at mom's funeral 2019, had Alzheimer's, she loved this song so much, it seemed ironic cause these words fit with how I felt watching her forget who I was.
