D.S.O.L. started writing their own music and had several live concerts in their hometown Sevlievo. During the period 2003-2004 they recorded a demo record, as well as 2 studio songs, but none of their songs was officially released. The band was invited to participate in a few festivals in Bulgaria, including Freemind, No Way Festival and AD Festival. Soon after that Martin had to join the military and the band separated for a while. They got back together in 2006 playing hardcore at all. But in 2008 their second guitar player Borislav decided to leave them. These obstacles did not stop the guys. In this moment they chose to change the stile to metal and in the beginning of 2009 they recorded the single “Only to you”. By the end of the year they started recording their long - awaited first studio album called “Awakened in this life” (self- release). The album was released in March 2010 and consisted of 9 songs, 3 of which in Bulgarian. To present the album, the guys themselves launched a tour and had concerts in many cities in Bulgaria. The tour ended with their participation in a music festival in Pazardzhik, which was attended by more than 700 people. The audience welcomed them warmly and formed one of the first big “Wall of death”, which will remain as a great memory for the band.
In the summer of 2010 the band participated in “Spirit of Burgas”, one of the biggest summer festivals in Bulgaria, as well as “East Noise Attack 6” in Varna and a festival in Lozenetz. In the fall they played with 2 foreign bands – the Brazilian Korrozao and Determination from Austria.
The songs of the band address different social issues – the indifference of the young people, the social system that consumes us and makes us go against our will, betrayal, love, disappointment and regret. The guys express themselves through music. They say that music makes them who they are. It makes them feel free and real.

Hold up
Its 95, first breath think I'm alive
Bitch Im the truth you think that imma lie
While in the booth, my words will never die
Bitch who are you? to try to pass me by
Its 95, first breath think I'm alive
Bitch Im the truth you think that imma lie
Bitch who are you? to try to pass me by
Got killer instinct
My pen will never miss ink
My piece of mind, will always have you thinking
By the time we rise, we'll have this planet singing
On time, no misdemeanor have your favorite rapper missing
Lets take it back, timeline so we're on track
My mom and I we walked the streets there ain't no shame in that
Dirty South El Monte we got family still in tact
Pomona made me what I am and now you hear me rap
We'd be on the bus, thats how I learned to cuss
'Cause people always talking, didn't matter where I was
Didn't matter where we go as long as we know how to trust
On my kids imma hold it down until I bite the dust
And I can't be fake
My mind don't need an e-brake
Keep running out of place, think my legs gone need a knee brace
Can't relate, didn't need to chase the clout for me to be great
What she say? gone let me hit long as I feed her cheese cake
Its 95, first breath think I'm alive
Bitch Im the truth you think that imma lie
While in the booth, my words will never die
Bitch who are you? to try to pass me by
Its 95, first breath think I'm alive
Bitch Im the truth you think that imma lie
While in the booth, my words will never die
Bitch who are you? to try to pass me by
Its 95 y de Neza te visito
And I can't be fake
My mind don't need an e-brake
Keep running out of place, think my legs gone need a knee brace
Can't relate, didn't need to chase the clout for me to be great
What she say? gone let me hit long as I feed her cheese cake
And I can't be fake
My mind don't need an e-brake
Keep running out of place, think my legs gone need a knee brace
Can't relate, didn't need to chase the clout for me to be great
What she say? gone let me hit long as I feed her cheese cake
The song "Who are You?" by D.S.O.L. is a reflection of the artist's journey in life and the challenges he had to go through to be where he is today. The opening lines of the song, "It's 95, first breath think I'm alive, Bitch Im the truth you think that imma lie" signify how he came into this world and his determination to speak his truth, which he believes will never die. He reflects on his childhood growing up in Dirty South El Monte and Pomona and how these places shaped him into the person he is today.
In the verse, "Got killer instinct, My pen will never miss ink, My piece of mind, will always have you thinking," D.S.O.L. talks about his desire to use his music as a tool to inspire people to think and reflect on their lives. He is not interested in fame or fortune but rather wants to leave a lasting legacy with his music. He acknowledges that he has made mistakes in the past, but he is willing to learn from them and become a better person.
Throughout the song, D.S.O.L. touches on various themes, including his Mexican heritage ("Soy Mexicano Fuck Trump a tu murro le salpico"), his struggles with education ("No me gustaba la escuela y la tarea para luego"), and his dreams and aspirations ("Didn't need to chase the clout for me to be great").
