No stranger to spotlight, he has toured with many acts, including DJ Logic, Devotchka, Cabaret Diosa, The Motet, members of Lotus, Particle and more.
In October 2009, he released "Before I Sing," an 11-track masterpiece merging modern Hip Hop with vintage Motown and Soul Jazz. In January 2010 he released "Beyond the Looking Glass," a 4 song preview of a 2-volume release due out this spring. This new release fuses elements of Hip Hop and and Soul with modern rock guitar and dubstep textures.
In early 2009 he won the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey remix contest for their tune "Tetherball," which was release on 1320 records.
Brian Haas of JFJO says “"The new D.V.S. album, 'Before I Sing', combines beautiful melodies, super fat beats, jazz guitar power, and lush horn harmonies into true, relevant psychedelic trip hop. The vocal samples are tasteful, emotional and spiritual colors that take the human voice into a melodic fragment world reminiscent of late Miles Davis trumpet work. The record tells a story from beginning to end, has a musical arc from first track to last track and employs real theme and development within each composition. Very positive sounds from a unique, new voice in modern music....highly recommended."

Smoking these moon rocks
Yeah
Smoking these moon rocks
Fuck around and moon walk
Bitch there's nothing to share
Fuck around and moon walk
Yeah
Smoking the moon rocks
Yeah
What's this
That new bop
Astronomical cost a new watch
Next time I park the spaceship
Imma drop that bitch
In two spots
Hop out that bitch
Moon walk
Yeah
Smoking these moon rocks
Yeah
They couldn't hold me down with gravity
I say they couldn't hold me down with gravity
Yeah
How it go now
One small step for man
One giant leap for man Kind
Smoking these moon rocks
I bout to light this shit homie
Smoking the moon rocks
They smell like tube socks
And I done watched em shooting stars
Since like Tupac
Now what you was taught
About the Astros
Is what you not
Most niggas care about NASA
Like no ass on a thot
I cannot hustle
Where you hustle
They outta space on the block
For all the crabs in the bucket
I'm outta space at the top
You thank the moon landings fake
I say just gimme my props
Cause I may never land
Dancing
Like I'm the king of pop
Smoking these moon rocks
Fuck around and moon walk
When a dog barks at a moon
Bitch there's nothing to share
Fuck around and moon walk
Yeah
Smoking these moon rocks
Yeah
What's this
That new bop
Astronomical cost a new watch
Next time I park the spaceship
Imma drop that bitch
In two spots
Hop out that bitch
Moon walk
Yeah
Smoking these moon rocks
Yeah
You gotta let me be
For our legacy
Rest in Peace
I'm special K
That's ketamine
What the F you mean
My flow obscene
Tell ya dawgs
My bitches better breeds
And the whole pedigree
Would take a knee
I play for c.r.e.a.m
Kick stand
How they lean on me
They told me plant a flag
I'm screaming
Fuck the police
Now say it with ya chest
Imma lake side king
Feel like this suit got a leak
Cause nigga
I can't breathe
Smoking these moon rocks
Fuck around and moon walk
When a dog barks at a moon
Bitch there's nothing to share
Fuck around and moon walk
Yeah
Smoking the moon rocks
Yeah
What's this
That new bop
Astronomical cost a new watch
Next time I park the spaceship
Imma drop that bitch
In two spots
Hop out that bitch
Moon walk
Yeah
Smoking these moon rocks
Man real shit
I'm tryna take my John Hancock
And put the renasci culture logo on the moon
Feel me
If you get it you get it
If you missed it
That's on yo dumb ass
