Compliments to Monty Python:
“Brave Sir Hawley ran away.
Bravely ran away away.
When danger reared it's ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Hawley turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
Swiftly taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Sir Hawley!”

Thomas Kristensen

Brave Josh Hawley’ ran away.
("No!")
Bravely ran away away.
("I didn't!")
When danger reared it's ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
("I never!")
Yes, brave Josh Hawley’ turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
("You're lying!")
Swiftly taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Josh Hawley’!

It felt like the Hawley sequence was personal for the committee and I'm here for it.

The fact that security guards called their family members to say goodbye really broke my heart

Broke my heart as well, and it was deja vu to me all over again that it reminded me of 9-11 when all those selfless people on those flights called their families to say goodbye.
Fortunately these security folks had a better fate.
God Bless all of them!

@peaches B- Georgia And then u think about u-kno-who sitting in his dinner room at the tv watching the coverage laughing up his sleeve as the republic is under direct threat and it breaks ur heart even more.

Oh Henry!

Really broke my heart, too. Almost brought me to tears even though they are not usually a group of people I'm enamored of. Still they should have never been put in that position. A sad day for this country. Smh...

The expression on Stephen's face when talking about Hawley quite literally fleeing from the consequences of his actions was probably my favourite part of this whole monologue.
