Liar Liar
D. Woods Lyrics

In the yard with optimus everything
Seemed so prime but a death of a child
Can tear them all apart

All I seem to remember about that day
Was the sun shining through the window
Giving our activities so much life
More than meets the eye

Overall Meaning

The above lyrics from D. Woods's song LiAR LiAR depict a tragic incident that shattered the familiar and comforting view of childhood, represented here by the reference to Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots in the Transformers franchise, a popular symbol of resilience, courage and hope for many children. The yard symbolizes the innocence of childhood, a protective environment where children can be free to play, explore and learn without fears or worries. However, the death of a child disrupts this safe haven and plunges everyone into a reality that is painful, confusing and difficult to bear. The lyrics suggest that even something as apparently strong and invulnerable as Optimus Prime can be undermined by such a tragedy, implying a sense of hopelessness and disillusionment that permeates the song.

Moreover, the lyrics hint at a sense of nostalgia and longing for a time when life was simpler and more carefree, as the sun shining through the window evokes happy memories of childhood activities. The phrase "More than meets the eye" is a reference to the tagline of Transformers, indicating that there is a deeper meaning and complexity to the lyrics beyond the surface level. The use of this phrase can be seen as a way to emphasize that life is not always what it seems, and there is a lot of pain and suffering hidden beneath the facade of happiness and comfort.

* EVANGELICA LEADERS ATACK THE CATHOLIC CHURCH OFTEN?:
*HELLO PASTOR MICHAEL YOUSSEF,
Feb. 200022
     I Iisten to your sermons daily & most of the times it's interesting! Today you said that some Christians hide themselves in convents to avoid persecution, etc. Truly, what you said is NOT right.  Monks & Nuns do lots of WORK: teaching at the Catholic schools, working at churches, visiting hospitals & families, visiting prisoners, working with the homeless and doing missionary work, to name a few.
Also, they pray & sing daily for 5 hrs - & they rise very early to pray.  St. James said that prayers of true Christians  bear lots of fruit (James 5).
     Frankly, God will judge us for whatever we say & do; the Gospel says that our work will follow us for eternity.  I hope you will correct this misconception & apologize to your listeners.  I believe that those who apologize for their mistakes are honest and brave people. And the first 12 Disciples made many mistakes especially during the first 3 years and the Lord corrected them each time as He often does with me.
Kind regards.

@WoWmeJac

Saw your post about this video being banned in Pakistan. Had to come see what was so offensive and bannable. Found it.

A destructive and dangerous conversation between two conservative members of the patriarchy.

Got it.

Funny. I grew up when people would go around selling encyclopedias door to door. Now that information is no longer controlled by one printing company, and is readily available to an entire world for free...

We must undo that mistake. We wouldn't want people to be exposed to various ideas and tons of information to combine and sift for validity.

@hamsahamdan484

It wouldn’t be the first time a messenger of God was called crazy.

The Quran says, or to make it simple for you- Your Creator says in the Quran;

“You are not, [O Muhammad], by the favor of your Lord, a madman”.

Chapter 68 [The pen] verse 2.

Which person high on anything speaks to himself like this. Jesus (May Gods peace and blessings be upon him) performed miracles including including giving sight to the blind, healing lepers, raising the dead, and breathing life into clay birds. No one called him tripping or crazy. What is it that Muhammad (peace be upon him) did, that wowed you so much you had to go and try and make sense of it by accusing him of insanity? No. It is a message from God. And Muhammad (peace be upon him) is simply His Messenger and Prophet. All might and power are with Allah. If a man, who’s claiming to be the Prophet of God, if his actions overwhelm you so much so, and you are that in awe, so much so you want to accuse him of being out of his mind- then know, that it is not from him but Allah. No man on the face of this Earth, ever, could have pulled off what consists of Islam, if it was from themselves. No. It is from God, and God alone, without partner.

What man gets high and starts telling society to look after its orphans. Telling the people of his time to stop burying their little girls as was the abominable custom of that ignorant time. Telling society to look after single mothers. The freeing of slaves. Giving women their rights. Giving people their rights from God, so much so even your neighbour has a right over you. I could go on for days. But it will fall on deaf ears anyway. This man stood by the message of God, even though he was persecuted, kicked out of his own homeland, some of his own blood relatives disowned him, and plotted to kill him. Only a man who is working for God can tolerate all of what he endured. If it was for anyone else, the message wouldn’t have even lasted a few days. There are 1.8 billion Muslims in the world and growing. Who Allah guides none can misguide. Do your worst, it only makes the truth grow louder.

Nay, rather it is you that is out of your mind.

@growing Christian

Again, Muhammad ﷺ had amazing character and was a righteous servant of The Most High

If I were you, I would learn from Muslim scholars about Islam rather than non-Muslims who have limited knowledge. It seems you like to be spoon-fed narratives.

Also, rather than attacking the principles of religion of Islam, you are interested in attacking character of people. Islam calls to worship the Creator alone, because He alone created us

In Christianity false belief, The Most High transformed into a baby in diapers, and then committed suicide in order to be able to forgive his own creation

If you want to worship a baby in diapers, and then call him “The Most High”, hey, that’s your choice

Matt thank you for not being spineless and having a rational conversation on how Islam is false. Too many of us are lukewarm Christians. God bless you both.

I am going to subscribe to this channel ! I am not a catholic, but a believer in the one and only triune God . I love the transparency in Matt ♥️♥️♥️ Good work !

God bless!

Thank you for posting this! I am a Christian and was married to a non-practiving Muslim man for 18 years. Finally divorced 2017. He always tried to tell me that I should "use my head" and realize God would not have a son and allow him to be killed.

@jennyredbeans

Which is funny bc in Islam they claim martyrdom way more for the kids than other religions it seems

@southbug27

God would not approve of grown men "marrying" & raping 9-year-old girls nor would he order men to beat their wives.

@southbug27

God having a son, Jesus, & allowing him to be crucified is just God coming to earth & demonstrating to us in person how to live, how to deal with issues; it's just like how a good parent demonstrates how to cook a dish to the child by their side or teaches a child how to change a tire on a car by having the child watch them & assist them in order to learn how. Jesus being crucified shows us that God is with us in our own injustices in life & teaches us to deal with these tnings through prayer & forgiveness so we don't destroy the rest of our lives being bitter & seeking revenge. Obviously, there's much more to it than that theologically, but I think that helps explain it in a way that someone with no understanding of Judaism & then Christianity can understand it.

I’d never been inspired to read the founding of Islam. I’ve tried variously over the years to read more or the Koran, esp when I was blindly seeking spiritual truths with the net cast ridiculously wide, but could tell straight away that it was a rambling work devoid of any inspiration to know the divine through love.
But reading the story of Mohammed’s early life, his regard for the revelations and especially the role that Khadīja bint Khuwaylid played. Yowsers. I think he was hen pecked. And the potential role of his much lauded feminist first wife is extraordinary.
Almost makes me feel sorrow for Mohammed in those formative times as it seems it was his wife that led him much further down the garden path, obviously under the influence of the Satan.

I can almost see a time where a devout and knowledgeable Muslim would visit again the history, ponder on the crucial death and resurrection of our Lord, realise his full divinity and find him(or her) self smack bang in the middle of a conversion to Jesus.
They’re primed to a large degree. Monotheistic, tradition leading back to Adams and Eve, schooled in the life of Jesus with some amazing acknowledgments about his existence ….. all it would take is some critical reading of Islamic history and BOOM! Wow, that’s so exciting to think they’re so close !
Much the same as our Jewish brethren. Sooo close !

@FantasyVisuals

One cannot miss the Catholic and Jewish origins of Islam. Not just the borrowed beliefs , but that Mohammed penned nothing of his own will , but his Catholic scribe manipulated him into writing the scribes words.

Everything good in the Qur'an wasn't new, and everything new in the Qur'an wasn't good.
