I have listened to this tune over and over for a long time... Now I come to realize why Dadaroma has became a top band in the nowadays scene. In a scene full of boring bands, all them abusing of the same djent clichés, Dadaroma created a true, unique, genuine blend of contemporary hardcore sound with the outstandingly dramatic dynamics and aesthetics of the visua-kei sound and image. I'm pretty sure "Oboreru sakana" will be considered a visual-kei cult classic in the future, just like Dir en grey's "Cage" or Malice Mizer's "Bel air" and many others.

I'm almost certain this song is about not letting people tell you how to feel and what to do, do to the English romanji being oberu sakana (drowning fish) which is something a fish couldn't and wouldn't normally do.

I love how some of these japanese bands are starting to mix some metalcore elements into their songs. Goes to show that Visual Kei isn't dead yeat, and there still are people that like to innovate and do something different.
