The song "Bolero" by TVXQ, also known as Dong Bang Shin Ki, is a beautiful ballad about following one's dreams and finding solace in the things we love. The song starts with Xiah singing about seeing someone dancing on a stage under the moon's light and dreaming of being able to dance like them too. Micky and U-Know's verses talk about healing the wounds in one's heart and not letting anyone bring them down, as long as they stay true to themselves.
In the chorus, Hero and Xiah's voices intertwine, as they sing about playing the beautiful but fleeting melody of a Bolero, while Max sings about finding a place to heal the listener's sadness. The second verse talks about the happiness and inspiration one can find even in the darkest of places, as long as they hold onto their dreams. The bridge sees the group encouraging the listener to keep shining and protecting the people they love, while the final chorus ties everything together, reminding the listener that they are not alone and that they can soar as high as they want to.
Overall, "Bolero" is a song that encourages people to always chase their dreams, no matter what anyone else says, and to find solace and inspiration in the things they love. The hauntingly beautiful melody, combined with the powerful and emotional lyrics, make this song a truly moving experience.
