His first track Everything 1K was featured in Big Baller Brand’s first-ever sneaker commercial. In October 2017 he released Halloween on 47 St. on SoundCloud. The 5-song EP, which he labelled as “just sum throwaways,” has amassed well over 400k streams. Following up with another mini-project, titled Fck Hell, in January 2018.
Since then, Davis has struggled with legal troubles involving his label, which prohibited him from releasing music. After over a year of releasing songs exclusively to SoundCloud, he was finally able to release an EP on all streaming services titled DC Friday’s. DC released one song a week on this EP for 5 weeks straight. His debut album, “Come As You Are”, was released via Rostum and ØUTLAW records on August 7th, 2020. Davis then followed this with his highly anticipated song "Wait Your Turn" on November 12th, 2020, with the deluxe dropping 1 week later on the 20th, adding 6 songs, a mix of already released SoundCloud songs, and other fan-favorite snippets.
In 2021, Daijon has been working on his upcoming album "My Own Worst Enemy" (often abbreviated by fans and Davis himself to MOW3) releasing promotional singles every few months, all of which being songs teased by DC on social media prior to release. the latest being REROUT3, which may be the only single to break into the MOW3 Tracklist. According to many fan speculations, as well as near confirmations from producers and DC himself, MOW3 may include incredibly anticipated songs such as Summer 1991, Scott Pilgrim, Futurama, Credit Card, Nauseous, Sick and Tired, and Zombieland, a song produced by Philly native and close friend of Lil Uzi Vert, Maaly Raw
After a positive release in 2021 of MOW3, DC The Don released his 3rd studio album "FUNERAL" on May 5th, 2023. Looking to put his previous eras to rest and start a new segment in his career thus holding a funeral. 16 songs, 40 minutes including lead singles "Hate Being Lonely" and "12AM". DC continues his synth pop Rag3 Kidd style, while continuing to use his versatility to its boundaries. Funeral includes many anticipated snippets including Intuition, Bankrupt :/, Friends… and LUV. DC looks to continue to strengthen his discography and branch out his audience. “REBIRTH” is DC The Don's fourth studio album and his follow up from May 2023 album, “FUNERAL”.
The first SACRED HEART project was released on Christmas 2022 during the wait for DC The Don's 3rd studio album FUNERAL. This was a way to hold fans over with anticipated songs, as they continued waiting for the delayed album. SACRED HEART 2 follows this trend, as this is a compilation of songs that fans have been waiting for, as they eagerly wait for REBIRTH (DC The Don's fourth studio album) to release.

In “Eclipse,” DC The Don is proclaiming his dominance in the rap game and his ability to handle pressure. He confidently states that he will drop another classic this year, and that he brings pressure to niggas still trying to be in his lane, as they are simply just random and big weird. He compares himself to T Mac in ‘04, stating that he’s the number one gun and in 10th gear, while others are still trying to be gang but not quite making the cut. DC The Don’s support system is also mentioned, with the Navy Seal boys all in camo while he plays the piano and listens to Sosa in his Lambo. He even goes as far as to state that he’s living rent-free in a hater’s head while he eats his snacks and has sex with their girl.
Throughout the song, DC The Don also references his wealth and lavish lifestyle. He boasts about being too rich and too sick and waking up mad, trying to get someone hit.
