Overall Meaning

"Dors le mal est passé et tu entres dans la danse" translates to "Sleep, the pain is over and you enter the dance." The song talks about overcoming pain and moving forward in life. The lyrics paint a picture of someone who has suffered and struggled with pain, but has managed to come out on the other side. They are now entering a new phase of life, dancing, and spreading happiness with every step they take.

The second stanza acknowledges that although the person has moved on from their pain, they still carry it with them. They may not fully fit into a world without pain and may still feel the weight of it. However, the lyrics suggest that death may be a release from this pain, and that the person's smile will finally fade away.

The chorus repeats the lines "Et si ça fait mal c'est parce qu'il comprend pas, Qu'une mine loge dans ton cœur depuis longtemps, Et si ça fait mal c'est parce qu'il te voit pas, Alors que ton sourire enfin s'éteindra," which roughly translates to "And if it hurts, it's because he doesn't understand, That a mine has been lodged in your heart for a long time, And if it hurts, it's because he doesn't see you, Even though your smile will finally fade away." The lines suggest that other people may not fully understand the depth of the pain that the person has experienced, and that the person's smile will eventually fade away, perhaps in death.

Overall, "noir" is a poignant song that touches on themes of pain, growth, and moving forward in life despite the weight of past struggles.

Powerful work. Most folks don't even know that Louisiana still operates under Napoleanic Codes, which is still an extension of Les Codes Noires (New-War) aka the Black Codes. Being of Haitian heritage I definitely see how it's being reinforced globally as well.

You drop so much knowledge that are lost to my Haitian people, starting to understand the conspiracy why haiti is so targeted also.

Right under our nose. You made history real. I hated history in school. I could tell it was all fake, and uninteresting. Truth is alway's more intriguing. 👏 👏 Bravo sir. Well done! You are a breath of fresh air to all the seekers. I thank you.

had certainly known of Code Noir before but had not known it was originally for Moors/Sephardic Jews... I think this was generally adapted into the Christian Black Codes and I think both of these are extensions of/from Dudem Siquidem and or Dum Diversas... maybe ultimately part of the Roman Curia in function. I also wonder if Las Sietes Partidas has anything to do with it... big thanks for this short video... I definitely learned something new
