The verse "とある言葉がきみに突き刺さり 傷口から漏れ出す液を '愛' と形容してみた" (A certain word has pierced into you, and I tried to describe the fluid that leaks out of the wound as 'love') illustrates the theme of a complicated, and possibly toxic, relationship. The term "mozaik role" (mosaic role) refers to how the persona feels like their love is a mix of different conflicting emotions and thoughts, and therefore seems incomplete or fragmented, like a mosaic. The lyrics portray the persona's struggles with their feelings towards their partner, depicting a relationship lacking in empathy and based solely on physical attraction or the idea of being together out of fate.

The persona acknowledges that their bond is similar to that of "karmic soulmates" - two people who are tied to each other by destiny but might not necessarily have a healthy or reciprocated relationship. In the verse "それでも「好き」とか　愛したっていいじゃないか　縛り 誰も触れないよう　これも運命じゃないか　消える消える　とある愛世" (Even so, it's okay to say that we like each other, that we love each other. It binds us in a way that no one else can touch. Perhaps this is fate, a certain love world that disappears), the persona is both accepting and questioning the nature of their relationship, wondering if it's worth holding onto or if it's meant to end eventually.

Throughout the song, there are hints of regret and longing for a different outcome. The persona wonders if they could have escaped their weak and dependent nature if their partner had lied to them and told them that it's okay to be a coward. They also question if holding onto their partner and insisting on love is worth the struggle, or if it's better to let go and kill off their attachment. In essence, the song portrays the complex emotions and thoughts that arise from a relationship that is based on more than just love.
