Go!
Put it to the test
What if life became a game
And is your crash dropt down the drain
Could you manage on your own
Rather be someone you did not know
I didn't know I had it all
Get it girl that's got a pill
I really need a thrill
I put it to the test
I mean a second gift
I'll get it on my chest
I wanne thrill a lest
I wanne feel no fear, no fear
Let it go let it flow
Through my mind
through my soul
It's all adrenaline, yeah yeah yeah yeah
Let it go let it blow
For my vaigns up to my brains
I need adrenaline
To take control
When I see through
I realise there's someone new
Digs you takes control
Plissie fear I feel my fear
And I w! onder
How far I go
But it kills me
I need to know
I put to the test
I mean a second gift
I get it up my chest
I wanne feel a last?
I wanne feel no fear, no fear
Let it go let it flow
Through my mind
through my soul
It's all adrenaline, yeah yeah yeah yeah
Let it go let it blow
for my vaigns up to my brains
I need adrenaline
To take control
I realise she's truly gone
Disappeared like a bullet leaves the gun
Let it go let it flow
Through my mind
Through my soul
It's all adrenaline, yeah yeah yeah yeah
Let it go let it blow
For my vaigns up to my brains
I need adrenaline
To take control
Let it go
Let it flow, I need adrenaline
Let it go
Let it blow, I need it
Let it go
Let it flow, I need adrenaline
Let it go
Let it blow, I feel it
Go!
DI-RECT's song Adrenaline is a nuanced exploration of the human experience of risk, uncertainty, and courage. The song's opening line, "Hey hey hey hey hey Go!" immediately signals a sense of urgency and excitement, as if the singer is about to embark on something dangerous and exhilarating. The lyrics describe a desire to test one's limits and take risks, even if it means risking failure or humiliation. The lines "What if life became a game / And is your crash dropt down the drain / Could you manage on your own / Rather be someone you did not know" speak to the singer's sense of curiosity and vulnerability, as well as their willingness to embrace the unknown.
As the song progresses, the singer's desire for adrenaline becomes more urgent, as they declare "I need adrenaline / To take control." This line suggests that the singer is seeking a sense of agency and empowerment that can only come from taking risks and pushing oneself to the limit. The chorus, with its repeated refrain of "Let it go let it flow / Through my mind through my soul / It's all adrenaline," captures the sense of excitement and release that comes from pushing oneself beyond one's limits. The song's closing lines, "Let it go / Let it flow, I need adrenaline / Let it go / Let it blow, I feel it / Go!" suggest that the singer is ready to embrace whatever challenges and opportunities come their way, confident in their ability to handle whatever comes their way.
Overall, DI-RECT's Adrenaline is a song that celebrates the human spirit of exploration, risk-taking, and courage. It is a reminder that sometimes, the greatest rewards come when we step out of our comfort zones and embrace the unknown.
