Futari de mita keshiki wa ima de wa chinurare
Zungai ni ma mireta ita anata no kataude
Aishi tsukareta kikeiji to shikyuu wo toridashite nagameteta

Moon Light Past...

Saa watashi no midare ka na kono sugata wo anata no sono kobore ochita gankyuu ni yakitsuke ne sai
Aishi tsukareta kikeiji to shikyuu wo toridashite nagameteta
Ganji garame no boku wa itsu mo onaji yume wo miru tsuzuketa

Ganji garame no boku wa aoku ochiru yume wo miru tsuzuketa

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to DIR EN GREY's Karma touch on themes of exhaustion, pain and the mystery of the past. The opening lines describe a scene that once looked beautiful and pure, but now it is stained with blood and tainted memories. The imagery of an arm covered in wounds could be a metaphor for the pain and scars the singer has suffered in their life, and how these experiences have left a mark on them.

The lines "Aishi tsukareta kikeiji to shikyuu wo toridashite nagameteta" describe the singer taking a break from their hectic life to contemplate the meaning of it all. They reflect on how the people they loved have left them tired and heartbroken, and how the world seems to be conspiring against them. This moment of reflection is followed by the words "Moon Light Past", which could suggest that the singer is looking back on their life and trying to understand how they got to this point.

The lyrics of the song are open to interpretation and can be seen as a reflection of the human experience. They touch on themes of pain, loss, and confusion, and offer a glimpse into the complex emotions that people experience on a daily basis.

Why are you so perfect Dir en Grey ?
You guys ease my mind.
Fucking wonderful !!

@HombreAproximativo

IMO the best song of the album (better than the new song also). By order: Karma -> Karasu -> The Unraveling -> Unknown...Despair...a Lost -> Bottom of the Death Valley -> The Final (the solo and some parts have no sense for me.) -> Kasumi (as a version, it seems a bad remix of the original, definitely not a remake). Dir en Grey is my favourite band and this is my valoration after my first listening to it...

@Flautouw

Macabre in first. DIR EN GREY is the best band ever see for me.

@Flautouw

Héhé, this song is just....perfect !

@MrWiggerdale123

The remake of Macabre is possibly the best thing they've ever done! If they were to call it quits now, it would be such a beautiful way to end.

@ayuhana16
