Noose
DJ C.o.d.o. Lyrics
You tricked me into thinking you were someone it would hurt to lose
I couldn't move
You bent yourself into the shape of a noose
Fastened above my bed
A knot inside my head
I could have wished you dead
If I had known
But I grew a secret of my own
A tiny bird, heart-grown
Sent her to other cities
I loved her song
I sang along
I tried to teach you but you got it wrong
You tricked me into thinking
You were someone it would hurt to lose
I had to choose
The song or the noose

For those wondering, a Dutch radio station (3fm) found out what the lyrics mean in English. The lyrics: "Tondoho mba, tondoho mba, mbwiya ami a léma o" actually mean: "Love me, love me, friend of my heart
