Drama's fourth album is titled Quality Street Music. The We In This Bitch Songfacts explains that concept for the record is one that Drama says he came up with while hosting Young Jeezy's Trap or Die mixtape back in 2005.

uh huh
In my city nigga life like a chess game
Uptown anybody could be next mane
I switch lanes on em
Reverse the game on em
Its a must to stay a couple of steps ahead on em

I mean I was really on some heat first shit
Stalked a nigga put him on a t shirt shit
Then go to the funeral and carry the herse shit
Yeah its real in the field nigga and what
I still hustle shine and get my sex up
I still grind fuck em what ima slack what
They pop drama but they bounce right back uh
chorus (2)
Gotta get that money gotta get that
Gotta get that money gotta get that
Gotta get that money gotta get that
You know where the licks at nigga where the bricks at
verse 2 Soulja slim
In "Gotta Get It," DJ Drama features rappers B.G. and Soulja Slim. B.G. begins the first verse by painting the picture of New Orleans street life. B.G. describes life in his city as a chess game because it is strategic and requires precise moves. Anyone could be the next victim in a street altercation in Uptown, New Orleans, where B.G. is from. B.G. changes lanes and reverses the game, implying that he is always on his toes and one step ahead of his enemies. He says it is crucial to keep multiple steps ahead because the street life is dangerous and requires being cautious.
B.G. has had a tough life on the streets, as he has survived the worst situations. He is a veteran in this game and has seen all there is to see. He has done some terrible things, having once stalked a person and later put them on a t-shirt. However, despite his tough exterior, B.G. acknowledges that the streets are really dangerous as he attends funerals to carry the hearses. Despite all of this, B.G. hustles, shines, and gets his sex up. He continues to grind and doesn't let the drama hold him back.
The chorus serves as a reinforcement of B.G.'s message that you "Gotta get that money." Soulja Slim continues the second verse by describing his experience with dealing drugs. Slim talks about the money he makes, where to find the best drugs, and how to get his clients to ensure he stays afloat. Despite being in a dangerous business, Soulja Slim is always concerned with his money.
