Dedication 2 (Gangsta Grillz) released in 2006 with heavily crunked out remixes of popular hits courtesy of Drama and lyrics provided by Wayne along with a slew of many of other rappers. The mixtape featured many artists that were currently signed to Waynes label, Young Money. Among them were Curren$y, Remy Ma, Freeway, Willie The Kid, Detroit Red, Juice, Mack Maine, Pharrell and Juelz Santana delivering raw intensity with phenomenal flow. Assisting Drama with production were Don Cannon, DJ Green Lantern, DJ Infamous, Swizz Beatz, Pimp C, and many more. Tom Breihan of The Village Voice proclaimed it the best summer album of 2006, praising DJ Drama's "impeccable beat selection". "SportsCenter" was complimented for its "free associating brain bursts." "Georgia... Bush" was also acclaimed for its "mesmerizing indictment" of President Bush.
Following up in the Dedication series yet again, Drama and Wayne release Dedication 3 (Gangsta Grillz) in 2008. Although Dedication 3 was a major success, it failed to match that of its predecessors but did gain some attention. The mixtape has sold over 70,000 copies in the United States, despite being available for free download. Besides the interludes, a majority of the mixtape has Wayne using auto-tune. Wayne continued to promote his own artists on this album. Returning MC's consisted of Willie the Kid and Mack Maine along with newcomers like Drake and Nicki Minaj. Returning producers included Don Cannon and Pimp C. Production was also assisted by newcomers like Soulja Boy and David Banner.
While both Drama and Wayne have continued their own respective careers, it has been said that Dedication 4 is in the works.

Lonely as you
Pleasure or pain I can't choose
What would I do?
Lonely as you
Pleasure or pain I can't choose
Wake up your dream and I can't stand your screamin'
Spare all the preachin' my secret's worth keepin'
No one understands like I do
Keep out of reach I'm your leadin' deletion
Hide behind these masks
Though they still see right through them
Every now and then
You're down and out my friend
Down and out again
Down and out again
Down and out again
One more time for the last time
One more time for release
One more time for the last time
Everyone wants to believe
Blame it on youth all these years I've been losin'
Blame it on the past it's the last place I knew you
Blame all the children their rage and their ruin
Blame it on the black and the blue
Every now and then
You're down and out my friend
Down and out again
Down and out again
Down and out again
I'm down with you
One more time for the last time
One more time for release
One more time for the last time
Everyone wants to believe
Every now and then
You're down and out my friend
Down and out again
Down and out again
Down and out again
But I'm done with you
One more time for the last time
One more time for release
One more time for the last time
Everyone wants to believe
One more time for the last time
One more time for release
One more time for the last time
Everyone wants to believe
One more time for the last time
One more time for release
One more time for the very last time
Everyone wants to believe
All Right!
The lyrics to DJ Drama and Lil Wayne's song Down And Out express the feeling of being lost and the inability to make a choice between pleasure or pain. The repeated phrase "What would I do? Lonely as you, pleasure or pain I can't choose" highlights this feeling of being stuck in limbo. The song also touches on the idea of hiding behind masks, with the line "Hide behind these masks, though they still see right through them." The singer is struggling with their own issues and secrets, which no one else seems to understand. They feel like they are the only ones who can really comprehend their own situation.
The chorus of the song, "Down and out my friend, down and out again," expresses a feeling of familiarity with failure, as if the singer has been in this position before. The line "I'm down with you" conveys a sense of empathy and solidarity with someone else who might be down and out. However, the song ends on a note of finality, with the line "But I'm done with you." This suggests that while there might be a connection between the singer and someone else who is struggling, there is also a need to move on and let go of this person or situation.
Overall, the song Down And Out explores the complex emotions that can come with feeling lost, struggling with identity, and trying to find a way forward. It touches on the idea of hiding behind masks and feeling like no one really understands, and highlights the pain of being stuck in an impossible situation.
