So we thought we would do them one better and give them this entire mix that evokes that same feeling.”

“Jeff and I always talked about doing a tape together, and we simply love good music,” Boogie said. “When we realized how great a complete Summertime mix would sound, we got to work and made it happen.”

The pairing of DJs couldn’t be a better match, as Boogie’s favorite summer song is actually one of Jeff’s. “It has to be ‘Summertime’,” he said. “[But] if I had to choose outside of the fam, I'd say maybe De La Soul’s ‘Breakadawn’.”
