DJ Krush Lyrics

By a jumbo jet
It wasn't easy
But nothing is, no
When I feel heavy metal
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Well I lie and I'm easy
Pleased to meet you
I got my head done
When I was young
It's not my problem
It's not my problem
When I feel heavy metal
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Well I lie and I'm easy
All of the time but I'm never sure when I need you
Pleased to meet you
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Oh, yeah
The lyrics to DJ Krush's song "Song 2" are enigmatic and open to interpretation. The song's chorus "When I feel heavy metal and I'm pins and I'm needles / Well, I lie and I'm easy / All of the time but I'm never sure when I need you / Pleased to meet you" creates a sense of disorientation, mood swings, and uncertainty. The singer seems to be struggling with their own feelings and emotions which makes it challenging to establish meaningful relationships. The opening line "I got my head checked by a jumbo jet" adds to the sense of confusion and disorientation of the lyrics. The metaphorical image of a jumbo jet colliding with one's head suggests a traumatic and life-changing event that left the singer feeling disoriented and uneasy.
The verse "I got my head done when I was young / It's not my problem" could be interpreted as a reference to the singer's past experiences, which may have contributed to their current emotional state. The singer seems to have made peace with their past and is ready to take on new challenges, but they are unsure if they are ready to form new relationships. The chorus is repeated several times throughout the song, creating an impression that the singer is struggling to connect with others and find meaning in their life. Overall, the song is a self-reflective exploration of the artist's inner struggles and emotional turmoil.

It was a difficult process that required effort and persistence
But nothing is, no
Difficulties and challenges are just part of life

And I'm pins and I'm needles
When I am anxious and nervous
Well I lie and I'm easy
I pretend to be okay and act calmly
All of the time but I'm never sure when I need you
I often feel uncertain and incomplete without someone
Pleased to meet you
Nice to make your acquaintance
