Overall Meaning

The lyrics to DJ Misjah's song Access are simple but powerful. The repetition of the words "access" and "denied" creates a sense of urgency and frustration. The lyrics seem to be commenting on the idea of control and limitation, perhaps in a technological or societal context. The repeated use of these words creates a sense of being trapped or blocked from something you desire. The final "access denied" feels like a final, almost absurd confirmation of this blockage.

I feel truly blessed to have been born when I was, to be able to go out and hear tracks like this when they were current, played on massive sound systems that kicked your head in, the way they were meant to be heard! I get so nostalgic for the mid to late 90's club scene, it'll never be bested, best times of my life!!
