In DLD's song "Animal," the lyrics address the idea of making mistakes as humans, but reaching a point where one becomes an "animal" and loses their memory. One can interpret this as putting on facades or pretending to be someone they are not. The bridge expands on the concept of time being a factor in one's growth, singing "y el tiempo nos cocina lento, y el tiempo nos hace perfectos" (and time cooks us slowly, and time makes us perfect). The final lines of the song reiterate the idea of not asking for forgiveness, suggesting that perhaps one has gone too far to be forgiven, or that owning up to one's mistakes is difficult.
