Multiple mixtapes followed in the coming months, with 2017 offering Billion Dollar Baby, Baby Talk, Baby Talk 2, 3, and 4, as well as Back on My Baby Jesus Sh!t. 2018 continued in a similarly fashion with Baby Talk 5 and Blank Blank. In November of 2018, while shopping with his family at a Walmart in Huntersville, North Carolina, Kirk was approached by several men. An altercation broke out and gunfire ensued, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Jalyn Domonique Craig. Kirk, while involved in the dispute, did not admit to firing the fatal shots and was not charged with any crime connected to the incident. DaBaby got a label deal in 2019 when he signed on with Interscope.
The label quickly released Baby on Baby in March of that year, a full-length that was preceded by videos for singles "Suge" and "Walker, Texas Ranger."

You don't love me, don't tell me you love me
'Cause I can go fuck on your friend
I can hook up with your buddy
I ain't got time to pretend
I'm tryna get me some cuddy
And I ain't really tryna be friends
I tried to talk to the ho
Told her my dreams and she looked at me funny (ah)
Everything I done dreamed I done done it (yeah)
Everything I done dreamed I done done it (yeah)
Now I done it, it's time for some more dreams (yeah)

The song "No Love" by DaBaby features lyrics that are based on his philosophy of life. The opening lines of the song, "Oh Lord, Jetson made another one," refer to the producer of the track, Jetson, who DaBaby has previously worked with on songs like "Suge" and "Toes." DaBaby is essentially saying that the producer has made another hit track for him.
One of the central themes of the song is the idea that DaBaby doesn't trust love or romantic relationships because he believes that most people are fickle and unfaithful. He believes that women only want men for their money and success, so he has no interest in being friends with them or pretending to care about them. Instead, he is focused on getting "cuddy," which is a slang term for sex. He also mentions that he wants to get to the money, which is why he is so driven to succeed as a rapper.
DaBaby also talks about his experiences with women and relationships, and how he has been let down by them. He tells a story about how he tried to talk to a woman about his dreams, but she didn't take him seriously. He uses this anecdote to underscore his belief that women are only interested in men for their money and success. Instead of trying to find love or a meaningful relationship, he is focused on building his career and achieving success.
In summary, "No Love" is a song that speaks to DaBaby's belief that love and relationships are not to be trusted, and he instead focuses on chasing success and sexual encounters.
