I may have had many colorful T-shirts, but I only had one red shoe to my name.

I have been cheated and taken advantage of many times. I've also had to perform for free on numerous occasions for exposure.

I have faced criticism and discouragement from those who don't believe in me, but I have never given up.

But my problem is that I feel like I am surrounded by 'sissies,' people who do not understand or support my dreams.
