Big Boss
I got my heat, I got my balls
But I rather round up my niggas from Puerto Rico
To help me out with this war
Now bring it on
Now bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
Say bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
Now bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
You are a killer, me pone Daddy Yankee man
I got my nigga and my gun we open fire
You better get out of my way 'cause I'm a rider
At any time in the morning or even the evening
I'm laying this verse till you retire
Lets go, nosotros estamos dispuesto
En esto nosotros somos expertos
'Cause we're doing this everyday
In the ghetto which is part of the game we play
I got my heat, I got my balls
And enough Heart to break all y'all jaws
But I rather round up my niggas from Puerto Rico
To help me out with this war
Now bring it on
Now bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
Say bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
Now bring it on (estamos ready come on)
(You're not gangster) otro maleante de cartón
(I smell a Wangsta) Tú eres tremendo bobolón, pa
Fuck my English, también my broken Spanish
The sound of the gun is a universal language 'cause
I got my people and my gun we open fire
You better get out of my way cause I'm a rider
At any time in the morning or even the evening
I'm letting you splurge 'til you retire
Let's go, nosotros estamos dispuesto
En esto nosotros somos expertos
Cause we are doing this everyday
In the ghetto which is part of the game we play
I got my heat, I got my balls
And enough heart to break all y'all jaws
But I rather round up my niggas from Puerto Rico
To help me out with this war
Now bring it on
Now bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
Say bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
Now bring it on (estamos ready come on)
I got my heat, I got my balls
And enough heart to break all y'all's jaws (mucho corazón pa')
But I rather round up my niggas from Puerto Rico
To help me out with this war
Now bring it on
Now bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
Say bring it on (tira pa'lante come on)
Now bring it on (estamos ready come on)
We're ready man Don?t get it fucking twisted
We can get a ticket and we can fly out there and give you a visit in the cold
and we can turn it into heat
No te equivoques
Eso es bien fácil pa' nosotros
The lyrics of "Bring it On" by Daddy Yankee are about being ready for battle and not showing fear or weakness. The song starts with an introduction to "El Cartel Records" and a declaration that the song does not support cowardice in the streets. Then, the chorus commands the opposition to bring it on and suggests that Puerto Rican allies will help in the fight. The first verse tells the opposing side that they are dealing with "anomalous" and skillful people who are not afraid of the courts or their weapons. The second verse continues the message of strength and readiness for battle. The final verse seems to address a specific person, telling them to put their bullets where their words are and challenging their toughness. The chorus repeats with emphasis on the readiness and toughness of the performers.
Overall, the song reflects the tough, gritty world of gangs and violence. It portrays the performers as confident and ready for a fight, but also acknowledges the dangers and potential consequences of such actions. The use of language and imagery reinforces the message of strength and fearlessness.
